We have just spent a lovely week at Treballan Park. Arrived on a rather wet Saturday morning and was shown immediately to a good sized pitch (Outwell Idaho with extension and day tent fitted, and Khyam day tent) The site as you would expect in Cornwall was 'hilly' but the pitches to the top of the site were levelled in to the slope. Toilet blocks were spot-on and the free showers were powerful and never busy. If you fancy fishing there are a couple of well stocked carp lakes (saw some nice ones being netted) I found this site to be of good value, particularly for the area. Newquay was about 10 mins and Crantock beach was about 5 mins. Holywell beach was about 10 mins also. The Smugglers Den pub was fantastic, food was really good quality and for a family of four was £60 with drinks. One small downside of the site was a lack of a small shop but this does not put us off from visiting again as the village of Cubert is well within walking distance and there is a Morrisons on the outskirts of Newquay.
The site is kept well maintained and clean by a constantly busy team who seem to work endlessly. Will definitely go here again. Kids loved the pool

Just spent a great week at Trebellan Park. The approach is very scenic and the site very quiet and well kept. We were shown to our pitch but had to choose again as the allocated pitch would not have comfortably taken our vermont L and car. The site is split into various sections. The most spacious are in the bottom field towards the big lake. Here it is beautiful and plenty of room to pitch, however on this field the EHU pitches are at the top and the only pitch available would have meant the porch of the tent would have been on a slope - not ideal. This would have been perfect if you have a smaller tent. We settled on a pitch fairly close to the toilets in a shady area. It turned out absolutely fine and could still appreciate the tranquillity and views surrounding us.
The facilities were excellent, very clean and plenty of showers and never had to wait. They were the push button kind, however were always hot and clean. No hairdryer or electric anywhere in the toilets, but with EHU this was not an issue for us. We had very changeable weather and a few nights of heavy rain and strong wind. The ground did get very wet but drained quite well and didn't cause too many problems. There was a nice little playground and the pool looked clean and inviting - however a bit too cold for our kids. There were some lovely walks surrounding the site and very nice views all around the lakes. The big field at the bottom was great for ball playing and kite flying. Noise on the site at night wasn't a problem. Towards the end of our week it got busier and a bit noisier at night, but was definitely all quiet by 11pm.
The smuggler's den pub right next door was a little gem. Great staff and fab food. Not that cheap but really good quality. Very popular so if you are a large party, best to book a table in advance. Closest shop was a small Londis in Cubert about a 3 min drive and only 10 mins from large Morrisons just outside Newquay. Fish and chips in Cubert also really good and did Pizza takeaway too.
All in all a great site - was very nervous before going as very few reviews on here, so hopefully this will help with other peoples choices. Would definitely return to this site - very enjoyable.

We arrived on a damp day, which wasn't a good start! Pitches were tiny and the cars and Quad bike which the wardens were using were just inches away from us, in fact our caravan and awning was splattered with mud. Not much for the kids to do, but the pool was good and there is a small play area. We spent most of the time off the site. My husband liked the idea of a good pub just yards away, which we attended a few times, Smugglers Den also does good food.

This site is split into different levels with fishing lakes at top and bottom. Toilets, plenty and showers are great - really warm and powerful. Swimming pool ok, pub food lovely but not your two meals for £10. Small park for kids. You can walk to Cubert from the site. This site seemed full of teenagers which meant it was noisy - if you've got little ones then you might be better somewhere else. To fish you just go to the lake and the bailiff collects your £3.50 (or not in our case - we didn't see him over two days!) It was ok but probably won't be going back.

We have just spent a lovely week at this site the facilities are clean, there is a launderette and TV room on site and a small but lovely pool. The pitches are of a reasonable size and there is a really good pub/restaurant yards away. We will definitely be back again as it was a perfect site for families.
