Just returned from a short weekend break. We checked out the site early season and decided we'd give it a go. Very reasonable prices for an excellent site.
The site has flat pitches and you can choose where you pitch upon arrival. Either in the central area or around the edges which are sheltered by trees. Toilets are adequate for the size of the site with 2 toilets and 1 shower for each sex. Maybe a little wait for showers if you don't time it right.
The weekend we went it was high 20's so the pool was most welcoming. Very quiet, very relaxing, very good. Lowestoft itself is only 6 miles away and the river at Beccles about 4 miles in the opposite direction. If you're looking for a quiet and very friendly "Adult only" site, this could be for you. As mentioned, the coast is only 15 minutes away if you want the sea or the pool is only 30 seconds if you want to stay on site.
Not sure we should praise it too much or we might not get on again later in the year (which is a definite return for us) but it's only fair to let you guys know about it too.

Have stayed on this site for the past 5 years and had some lovely times there. The pool is kept nice and clean as all the campsite. The owners are really friendly and helpful. Nothing there to spoil your stay, if you want a relaxing holiday, no club house, no shop, its brilliant. Unfortunately they can no longer accept children at the site which is such a shame and I am gutted, but all I can say is for the adults who go there enjoy the peace and quiet and the feeling of getting away from it all!

We found this site to be very peaceful and great for walks with the dog.

Most of the pitches have electric hook up, and the toilet block was clean and tidy, small but then I only saw one other person using it.
There is a Tesco Express and most importantly a Pub called  The Three Horseshoes within walking distance, the pub takes approximately 20 mins to walk to although doesn't allow dogs inside, they do have benches outside though.

The only problem we had with the site was how water-logged it is, I'm not sure what it is like the rest of the year but it was very wet and hard to keep the tent clean.  A few people got stuck in the mud and had to be pulled out by the owners tractor.  Wellies were essential!

We would return but only in the height of summer when it hasn't been raining for some time.

Spent Whitsun bank holiday tenting on this small and peaceful site.  Toilets and showers very clean and tidy.  20p per shower and the water good and hot. Owners unobtrusive and helpful. Pitches a little waterlogged in places but not surprising as it bucketed down on the way.  Stopped raining as we pulled up and we managed to find a dry pitch around the edge. Very pleasant and peaceful weekend. Planning on a return visit very soon.

A very nice quiet and relaxing site, within easy reach of the seaside. Clean and tidy with spotless loos and shower. Tescos express is just up the road on the way to Oulton so no probs for food supplies, petrol / diesel or the essential bottles of wine. Very reasonable pitch tariff, will definitely go back.

Pleasant little site, owners friendly and approachable.Facilities a bit basic but then the site was cheaper than most and the pool was free to use.Everything nice and clean. All in all well worth a look and for peace and quiet couldn't really be bettered.

A good family-run campsite. Large pitch sizes, quiet, shielded from strong winds by trees all around. The pool and toilet/showers are clean. We paid £4.50 per person in a tent. The site is about 6 miles away from the beach in South Lowestoft, you can cycle half of the way on quiet country lanes, rest of the way is a bit more complicated. Else fairly easy to drive to beach.

One problem: the toilet/shower facilities are sparse when the campsite is full. Male and female each have 2 loos and one shower. This easily becomes too little in high season. Also don't see the point with the keys.

A fantastic little site a couple of miles outside Beccles. The pitches are well spaced out, and we could choose where we wanted to camp. As the owner was showing us round she pointed out a secluded area under some trees that, although not part of the site proper, she said we could use. So we did!

The pitch was £7 per night plus £1 per person (peak rate), showers 20p for 7.5 minutes - plenty of time for both a shower and hair wash. The toilet/shower block was in the corner away from the pitches, and was extremely clean; it was cleaned every day by the owner. There is a £5 deposit per pitch for the washroom keys.

The site also boasts a free outdoor swimming pool - also cleaned meticulously every day! And very welcome after a day out in a heatwave.

It was quiet and peaceful, yet within easy access of the main road.

Children and dogs (on a lead) are welcome.

The only, very small, gripe is that there is not a washing up area, but we were so pleased with the site as a whole we didn't mind making do with a pan!

An excellent site, highly recommended!
