Had a lovely stay at this camp site, had a old friend come and visit which was nice, showers hot and clean, plenty of things for kids such as place to play ball games, a playground and also an indoor games room. Meals were gorgeous.
Only problem we had were noisy neighbours but the owner was very helpful in sorting it for us. Will be returning again ideal for whitby. We also visited heartbeat country which is well worth a visit and robin hoods bay. Overall I would give it 9 out of ten.

We booked this very last minute, we were very pleased with it overall. It was clean and well placed to be out and about. Its very basic but what more do you need.
I think only thing was missing is an information sheet when you first get there to explain everything to you as they had a playground and we didn't know so that would be the only thing they should do
The price is very good too as a lot round the area charged double when we rang them. It had a pub and did food we didn't try them but may be next time as yes we would go again

I would like to say this is the most relax caravan park I have ever been to with my family. The owners are great nothing is a problem for them. The children play area is great and the field area for ball games is too.
The pub is so comfortable to go to with your children, there is a family room with a pool table which is only 50p a game which when you have 2 boys who love to play is great.
The toilet block could do with a mop bucket leaving in so you could mop round when finished but apart from that they are good.We have had 3 stays here now and would go again and again its the best for a relax and chill out time. Which that's what its all about in the caravan life

Excellent help from the wardens when they found out we had disabled, we got re-sited nearer the path / toilets. Weather was great, and the showers were nice and hot. Good base for travelling into Whitby, will definitely return 5* on our scale.
Only down point was no laundry facilities. Never went to the pub as we had 4 young children under 5. Toilet block was kept clean and well stocked with loo paper.

Just back from this site today, spent 4 nights there. Really enjoyed our stay. It was our first outing with our new little tourer and the warden was really helpful and pleasant. Showed us to our pitch, helped us reverse in. If you are a landrover owner you will love this site, they're plenty on site and visiting! We pitched in the field and it was lovely and peaceful. It wasn't too overcrowded and had a lovely atmosphere. The site also has rrom for tents and I saw a family was able to camp next to there relatives in a caravan which is great. The pub at the front of the campsite is great and is doggy friendly. They was really helpful too, often cooking us a meal when we arrived late or food for our little boy sunday evening when they had finished cooking hours earlier.
Lots of open field for our little lad to play in, toilets and showers lovely and clean and not to far a walk, a little shop on site and pleasant people working there.
I loved this site and will definitely be visiting again soon!

I thought this was a great site. Good value for money too. We will return. The facilities may be a little dated but they were clean. The site managers were great. The shop was well stocked as was the pub! Food a little over priced there so we didnt sample any. The mud needs addressing but we had a huge deluge of rain that week.
Superb for access to Whitby and other areas. We will most definitely visit again.

Great value for money site. Wardens very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.Toilets and showers very clean all the time (even though it was very wet weather). Great location for both coast and country. While we were there the field got very wet but this was only to be expected as it did nothing but rain, but still not complaining. Small but well stocked shop on site that seemed to have just about everything we needed, including home made pies and scones that were great. The site is very well looked after. Great site for families. Will go back

If you love squelshing about in a muddy field and getting your awning and caravan full of mud then this is the place! This site needs some serious tlc. The shower block is dated and cold although the showers are hot. It takes 20mins to fill you aqua roll as the water pressure is poor and the chemical toilet emptying point is a boxed in toilet with no flush you have to fill a bucket! The pub on the site need a serious refurb and the food is expensive. We had to get our caravan towed on and off the field by the wardens 4x4 it is that boggy. Only good thing I have to say about this place is the wardens are very nice and helpful. We will not be returning.

Nice friendly site, the wardens were very helpful and site was very clean. Toilet / shower block clean but only one mirror an no shelf to put stuff in the shower. Just too far away from the tent area, about 200yards, couldn't understand why all statics / tourers that had their own facilities were nearer. Not a very nice walk in the rain at 1am to go spend a penny. Don't think we will return unless they build another toilet block. Good if you have your own facilities.

Great pub at the top of the site with family room. Easy reach of Whitby and Sandsend will visit this site again and again
