Yet another holiday here. Only thing cannot control is weather otherwise will definitely stay again. Location is fantastic and its a relaxing place to stay, especially if you have kids who want to run off energy in the fields. It gets back to basics with pitches around the outside leaving a huge area for games in the middle. Dave (owner) is faultless in his helpful and friendly nature and nothing is too much trouble. Love the place.

Not long came back from Deep Meadows camp site. We went to this camp site because of the good reviews, but we were a bit disappointed to be honest.

Dave I must say, was a lovely, friendly person, always saying hello with a wonderful smile on his face. He was always busy and always around the site, infact he seemed a bit too busy and could have done with an extra pair of hands. Dave is the sort of person that you instantly smile too.

The camp site was cleaned, but lacked light around the fields and to the toilet / shower block. In the evenings I was too worried to walk some distance to the toilets because although separate inside mens / ladies toilets, you had to share hand washing sinks. This made me feel uneasy late at night.

The facilities were not very modern and I did not have a true shower because the plumbing was not great, bad pressure and cold sometimes. I also did not like the old building toilet / shower block with spiders inside the tin roof and bad lighting. Although, I know some people love this sort of old cornish camp site.

The fields were well maintained (but got very muddy on the drive into the field) and Dave even had a separate dog walking field.

After saying all this I was very pleased with his price for a pitch, very reasonable compared to other campsites in Cornwall. I feel that campsites nowadays are getting far too expensive and next year because of the price we may have to give camping a miss and look at aboard for a holiday.

What can I say - this was our 3rd visit and we will be back. Excellent site, very quiet and relaxing. Dave, the owner is wonderful - nothings too much trouble. He recommended the St Agnes Hotel, Driftwood Spars as good local eateries and we managed to fit a meal in at both establishments - FANTASTIC! St Agnes beach is lovely and Perranporth is great fun with lots to do.

Like I said, we will be back!

This was our first visit to the site. The site is well placed just outside Perranporth and provides a great base to explore Cornwall. Dave the owner of the site is very friendly and helpful. We always saw him around the site whether it was mowing the grass or in the little shop on site. The site covers a number of fields and units (tents, campers, caravans etc.) are well spaced around the edge of the field allowing space in the centre for children (and adults) to play .

The sites facilities were all contained in one block. There is a total of 4 sinks for washing up (this means there are never any queues), a washer and dryer and lots of toilets and showers. All the facilities were very clean and well maintained. Next to the block is a games and TV room. Also on site is a small shop that stocks all the essentials (milk, fresh bread from the bakers and newspapers). From here you can also drop off your ice blocks to be frozen.

The site is situated between Perranporth and St Agnes. The largest town close by is Redruth which has many of the larger supermarkets (Morrisons and Iceland to name a few) and shops. If you want to learn how to surf then Perranporth is just down the road and there are many companies offering surf hire. But I would recommend getting in contact with the Cornwall Surf Academy based at Holywell Bay Holiday Park just 15 mins from the site.
We booked a whole day lesson in which we covered all the basics and by the end of the day we were standing. Great, friendly staff that offer super lessons for a good price. Further a field I would reccomend a trip to either Geevor, Levant and Beam Engine or Poldark mine which provides a true taste of Cornwall's past. Another really good place to visit is Goonhilly and Future World. Not only do you get to see some really big satellites but if you fancy a go on a segway then for £6 you get tuition and a tour of the site (about 30-45mins in total).

A fantastic site that that is well placed to explore Cornwall.

We have stayed at this site for a number of years.
The owners are very friendly and they have great pride in their site.  They will even collect fresh, warm bread from the village nearby each morning!  Fresh free range eggs from the farm next door.
The site is very well managed and unruly behaviour is not tolerated.  A few kids play areas are adequate.
The amenities are always spotless, and very regularly cleaned.
The rates are very reasonable, and the site is very well located for North Cornwall Beaches, the nearest being Perranporth.

My family and I have been coming to this campsite for a good few years now and can recommend it to anyone who wants a clean, quiet and friendly site. You will not meet a nicer bloke than Dave, who runs the site and nothing is too much trouble for him. The toilets, washrooms, showers (free) etc. Are always spotless and theres a payphone, iron & board, washer & dryer as well as washing up sinks and waste disposal point. A games room with T.V., pool table and table tennis help keep the kids amused and the camping fields are never allowed to become overcrowded or cramped. This site is well worth a visit either if you are just passing through or staying longer.

We stayed on this camp site & found all the facilties very clean. There was plenty of hotwater for washing & showering and there is a family shower room that is great for parents & children. Seprate wash cubicles and a couple of washing machines which were very cheap to use. There is a large tv / games room with pool table and table tennis, this games room was closed at 12pm.
The camp field was kept very clean mowed every day & lots of space between units. The owner, Dave, is one of the nicest people you could meet. The site is located between Perranporth & St Agnes, with great beaches nearby.
We found this site very relaxing & welcoming, we shall be returning again this summer. Thanks Dave and family.

Have been returning to this site for a few years now. Dave the campsite owner is a great guy nothing is to much trouble and he always has a cleaning cloth in his hands! There is fresh bread and papers to order on site and a small shop with the basics.

The showers are basic but more than adequete and kept very clean with a washing machine and tumble drier as well. The best bit is the room you get the pitches are not crammed in and there is a big playing space in the middle unlike other sites which would just fill this area with more pitches. It is close to St.Agnes and Perranporth and there are some fantastic beaches near by. Hope this is of some use

A nice site situated midway between St.Agnes and Perranporth, with great views. The shower block looks rough from the outside, but is great and kept very clean! There are also washing machines/dryers, a public telephone etc in the block.

We were there late in the season [3 units on site] and the owner was the nicest guy I have ever met!, nothing was too much trouble. Whether he has the time to be so friendly in summer, I don't know-but I suspect he is just the same!

If you take the walk into St.Agnes [about 20mins]Beware!! there is not much pavement and the road is bendy!!! There is a coastal walk, but we didn't get round to using it.
