Compared to most other sites, this one is a bit worn looking, nothing special about it at all, the park is very out dated, a slide and swing.
Electric hook up is a few feet away from your caravan so a long hook up cable is required as it is with the water, my water hook up is long but still didn't reach.
Nothing but a few caravans pitched in a field, there's an art to running a good caravan park, and this isn't one of them.

Nicely situated, toilet block has 2 toilets and 2 showers ( not very good as ice cold and then scalding). Play park for kids is a slide and 3 swings which is watched constantly by staff. Site is run by 2 people who can be quite abrupt and rude. Prices are expensive £18.00 for 1 night for 2 people and car if there are any children it is £1 per child don't actually know if awning is extra.

We found this site great for our two boys who were able to cycle in a loop until they were content but yet be no more than 100 yards away from us.
The rules were not really restricting apart from the 1200 leaving time although we left after 2pm as no-one else was arriving.
The facilities were spotless and we hope to go back soon. A very spacious site.

This site is located just outside Bushmills, close to the north coast and Giants Causeway. The site is extremely well maintained, with the exception of the children's play park, which could do with some updating as the rubber swing seats marked the children's clothes.
We found the site very regimented with rules everywhere covering all aspects of the site. We feel the site would be better suited to mature couples as we did not feel it was child friendly.
We had a lovely weekend but will be waiting until the children have flown the nest before returning.

Just back from a weekend at Bush Caravan Park. Nice and quiet site, very peaceful at night. Facilities excellent, toilets and showers kept exceptionally clean. Free showers and small play area for children.
The surrounding area has loads to offer. The Giant's Causeway, Bushmills Distillery, where they make the famous whiskey! Portballintrae, which is great for surfing. Portrush and Coleraine only a 10 min car ride away.
The only fault we had with this site was the area used for tents had no lighting at night. A bit daunting trekking to the loo at night! Luckily I remembered to bring the torch.

If you're looking for a bit of peace and quiet then this is the site for you. Set in the countryside the site is laid out in two areas with a tarmac drive leading onto concrete standings for caravans. Tents pitch on the grass behind some of the caravan standings. If it is quiet, as when we were there, you get the caravan standing and the grassed area. There are plenty of water points around so no need to trek for miles for the nearest tap. It is a level site and although we had some rough weather the site was very well drained so no mud and no flooding. It has a modern toilet block, fully tiled and kept spotlessly clean. There are two loos and two showers for gents and ladies alike with plenty of hot water and no messing around with push buttons, coins or tokens! When the site gets busy there is an additional toilet block which doubles the capacity and also provides disabled or family bathroom facilities. The washing up area is similarly immaculately clean again with plenty of hot water and even washing up liquid, pan scrubs and dish cloth provided. There is also a refrigerator with freezer section (handy for re-freezing ice blocks), washing machine, spin drier etc. There is a slide and swings for the children and various pavement games laid out but no vast play park.
The site does not have a shop but Bushmills is only 3 miles up the road where all your provisions can be bought. It is an ideal centre for touring the Antrim Coast including Giant's Causeway, Bushmills Distillery and Carrick a Rede rope bridge etc. The site is very reasonably priced, very welcoming and I would certainly go back.

We used the site as a base to visit the north coast of Antrim as it is situated just outside of Bushmills. The site is set out almost purely as a caravan site with L shaped concrete pitches for the caravans/awnings. As the site was not busy we were allocated a caravan pitch with a large grassy area behind it for the tent. I got the impression that in busy times tents would be mainly squeezed in between or behind caravans wherever there is space. The site was beautifully maintained and kept with excellent, spotless facilities (free hot showers, indoor kitchen with a kettle, freezer, washing machine & tumble dryer). The shower blocks could be improved by adding cubicles for wash basins (and blue bins for the ladies). There is also a small play area for kids.
For our energetic dog a short trundle down the entrance lane was barely enough and there was nowhere really to walk directly from the site although with so much walking around the coast this wasn't a problem. There was no shop on the site or within walking distance but Bushmills has most of the shops, pubs etc you'd need. Coleraine is only a few minutes drive and has all of the big supermarkets etc.

We visited Bush for a couple of days. It is set back from the road by about 100 yards, and it is great for privacy. The site itself is small and private and absolutely spotless. The staff were brill. The disadvantage is that its a bit out of the village, about 10 mins drive. The kids playground needs an update. Apparently they have an indoor play area/meeting room as well, but ot wasnt open when we were there.
All in all a great base, but not that much on site. I would go back.

A very clean site with approximately 45 hard-standing pitches, and very clean facilities. There is a small park for the kids to play in as well. Most pitches have an ample grass area at the side with some also having grass areas to the rear - we pitched our trailer tent in the grass area at the rear of one of the pitches. Tents, trailer tents, caravans and motor homes are all welcome. The cost for us (TT + 2 adults + 3 kids) was £12.50 per night. A month costs £300 and for the whole season (6 months) it is £600. The site is situated 3 miles outside Bushmills on the B17 heading towards Coleraine, very close to the junction with the B62 (Ballybogy Road). The only disadvantage with the site, is there is no shop within a short walking distance, but as a car is almost a must in this area (for sight seeing etc) this in not worth worrying about.
