My wife and I have had a seasonal pitch here for 2 years. It is a quiet, well maintained site with good views. The facilities are good and the site is well positioned for the town centre and visiting North Wales.
I cannot praise the owner enough. I was taken ill while staying there, she took me to the hospital, visited while I was in there and when I had recovered she came to collect me. She did far more than could be expected.

Lovely quiet campsite. Ideal for using as a base to explore the surrounding area. Not much room for tents but two small fields for caravans with electric hook ups. Most a seasonal pitches.
The daughter has taken over the running of the campsite and has made it nice with baskets of flowers dotted around the site. Stopped two nights at a weekend. No facilities for children ie no playground and no on site shop but a short drive to the village.
Toilet block is basic and did not use the shower. Fifteen minutes walk to friendly village pub. Need a car to drive to nearby attractions such as Ryhl.

Just had a lovely weekend here & nice & quite. When I phoned up to make a booking I was asked if I had any kids, as he didn't like kids. Which was fine with me as I didn't have any. But when we arrived there were children on site who were from the season pitches.
The site is mainly season pitches but also takes vans & tents. The eletric hook up is 6 amp only, so your limited to what you can use. The TV reception is poor but if you have a free view box & outside aerial you get great reception.
The site has 2 fields top & bottom with showers & toilets to both, but use the top block for the showers & end cubical if you like hot water, as thats the first on the water pipe :-( (what goes down hill come to mind).
This is a good base for all the resorts in North Wales as your in the middle & not far from the main arteries along the coast. 2 adults 1 car 1 van = £14 per night.

2002 We went to this site and it was a lovely friendly site although there wasn't a club or entertainment we were near to all the resorts to enjoy ourselves. I would recommend this site if you like beautiful views as we were looking at the Clwydian Range. Mr Evans, the owner was very helpful and gave us all the help we needed to have a great holiday. We will be going back again this year but a bit of advice book early. Have a great time.
