We stayed on this site for a weekend. The site was level and well drained. Staff were very helpful.
The toilet block was a short walk into the static park. The shower block was a bit farther on. I would like them to be nearer the touring park. Also the cars coming from the static park were doing well in excess of 10 miles per hour. I think speed bumps should be put in.

Good quiet site but; Club had good bar staff but as a previous review said, they were 'clicky', especially if you sat in their seats like we did.
Waste got over full
Showers; not the best. Shower had shower curtain instead of a door. New toilet block is ok.
Compared with next door, it was quiet.
Expensive for what you get.
Having said all that, trip to dunes with dog, good, beach with dog, good.

Nice site if you want to relax and do nothing. Not very amazing when it comes to activities other than karaoke. It has a kids room that is just a room with a bandit in and a dvd screen, not the best for the kids. The so called football field is not next to the tourers but they have been known to place a few on there when over bookings happen. One problem with the club house is the committee of the club are to cliquey and seem to be very up themselves. Would recommend for older people without kids, not for an active holiday couple, try haven for that.

Been to this site a number of times this year, never had a bad stay. Nice for the children lots of room for them to play, nice club house, family room. The people who did the last review were only there for a weekend, could not have gone to enjoy their holiday, all the people we know who have been there all enjoyed there stay. You could not wish for a nicer site.

One of the nicest sites we have been on. Shower and toilet block very clean, elec hookups. Nice and frendly and very helpful. Been going to this site about four years not had a bad holiday yet, only thing there is no awnings.
The site is nice and clean. There is a nice club with family room. Beach is about five min walk away over the sand dunes. We are going back this year.

July 2005 Having just spent a weekend here I can report it is a clean site with a level field and very close to the excellent sands ,less than 5 minutes stroll , with only the dunes seperating them (ideal for walking the dogs in) however the site manager was liberal with the truth regarding the noise "a few old dears singing karaoke and finished by 11 pm "we were told , at 11.40 the turn was in full swing with throwing out time still to go ,and the last song contained more swearing than I cared to explain to an 8 year old , after talking to campers from the neighbouring sites (haven's golden sands ) it seems they were complaining about the noise from this sites bar too . The single hardstanding I saw was situated between the fresh/waste water point on one side and the main gas supply tanks on the other with a couple of machine parts stored on it too , The skip used for the rubbish was overflowing and smelling when you got close which was likely as it was next to the other water point , if you enjoy drinking in the club and /or dont mind the noise the site has clean showers / toilets and a play field for ball games ,which is where the tourers are sited. A nice camp spoilt by noise but does have all day parking for £1 if you're in the area (about a mile from mablethorpe)
