We have just returned from a short break to Medros Farm site, we found it a very quiet and tranquil site the facilities were basic but very clean. Really there are no hardstandings but the ground seemed to drain well.
The site could do with at least another water tap mid way between the other 2 taps, however we found the site location ideal for touring Cornwall.
We like small quiet sites so this one suited our requirements, although the toilets etc are dated.
We received a warm welcome, and there are some pretty short walks around the farm area & gardens.
We intend to return before the site closes

Personally I think this site is brilliant. We were camping in a tent and although it says no tents, I phoned on the off chance and the gentleman who runs the site with his wife was very happy to book us in.
Very basic facilities, but that's because its mainly a caravan site. But has everything you need, including a lovely hot shower. Trust box 50p
The campsite itself is beautiful, surrounded by fields and a lake to walk around. No busy roads nearby.
The couple who run the site are so friendly and helpful. We arrived very late at night so met them in the morning and they were happy to chat and give advice on where to go and whats on locally.
Highly recommend

We stayed here for 2 nights in our small campervan. The location is lovely, and there are clean toilets and a shower with lots of hot water (honesty box)
The owner was friendly, of course, and the farm is a real delight.
There are walks around the farm, with a large pond and summer house, and a fine garden.
The area for the vans is very generous, and the site is peaceful being an adult only site.
It is so close to the Eden project, but also to all the other attractions near St Austell, for example Heligan, and of course the coast.
Lovely site, well recommended, and we will stay again when we are down there again, if there's room.

A lovely site - beautiful, quiet surroundings. Basic toilet block, but clean and tidy. The shower is in one of the farm's outbuildings. Hook ups available. Large grass area and smaller hard standing area. Very friendly couple who run the site. Cost was £7 per night. We went for a long weekend to visit the Eden Project. The site is no more than 1/4 mile away to the Eden entrance, then perhaps 1/4 mile inside round to the visitors centre. We cycled there and got reduced admission, plus we gift aided our entrance money - so we now get free entry for the year! We shall definitely be returning to this site to see Eden in the 4 seasons. Also visited the Lost Gardens of Heligan. Highly recommend.

What a gem. Only 1/2 mile from the Eden project and on the same road. Think it was about £8 a night with hook-up. Had some hardstandings with hook-up, some grass with hook-up and, I think, some pitches without hook-up. There are toilets and a shower. The site is set overlooking beautiful countryside and you can walk round the small lake in a woodland area. Run by a lovely couple. No hesitation in recommending it - fantastic.
It's probably quicker to walk than to drive to the Eden Project from Medros Farm. Not sure if they take dogs or children as there were none on the site when we visited
