Just returned from a weekend here. Had lovely meal in pub on our arrival. Very disappointed with toilet and shower facilities. Only 1 shower working and toilets are not very private or clean. According to hubby, mens toilets were flooded. We were disturbed saturday night by drunken neighbours arguing, which is probably a result of camping at a pub!

Had a great weekend here again. Weather was good considering were in February. Brand new games room with bar, 2 pool tables, dart board, fruit machines, football table etc. Brand new restaurant area since we were last here. Kids loved it here and wanted to stay after making new friends. Karaoke on at night time which was brilliant. Kids sang too~ lol. Nothing at all wrong with the toilets, they were cleaned daily and tidy. Only one shower was in use out of 2, though didn't have any problems with it. Food was excellent from restaurant and the bar snacks. Will definitely be returning. Thanks so much for the wonderful welcomming stay.

We booked in advance a couple of tents pitches, so were disappointed when we arrived to find all the space had been took and we had to pitch up between parked cars! There were no alloacted spots for tent or cars its obviously down to the campers to park and pitch where they want, we were also told to make way for campers bikes passing through! The toilets were awful, no loo roll, the mens had urine all over the floor, the wash pot area was a sink outside the toilets covered in nettles with only cold water, I didn't dare look in the shower block as we overheard a camper saying that the shower head was sellotaped on. There is a play area which looked OK. The club house was very loud at night and I was wary about going to loo on my own as it was near the clubhouse and some of the people in there were very rowdy. During the night we heard a camper shouting at someone to keep the noise down. On a more positive note the site is situated near Scarborough and Flamingo Land so we had enjoyable days out.

Went to The Snooty Fox with a group of workmates and also my son and dog. We all found the facility excellent in every department; Shower Block, Toilet Facilities, Field, Breakfasts and last but certainly not least the Clubhouse. The entertainment put on by the mine hosts John and Ness was superb as was their fine ales. I would recommend The Snooty Fox to one and all for a fantastic relaxing enjoyable time.

I stayed here for the weekend in a chalet to test the waters before I decided whether or not to camp here or not. I would definitely come here again we had a great time. The room was absolutely gorgeous the grass was dry and clean, it was a bit cold there but was soon warmed up by the log fire and a good ole hot toddy.
The site is a little basic but it is close to Scarbrough, Malton Flamingo land etc. We didnt get to go many places with it only being weekend but we had lovely drives out into town and walks.
Food only served on Sundays at the moment though the new owners who have only been there a couple of months did accommodate the situation and make us a delious meal and breakfast.
The starry night skies are well worth seeing its a beautiful sight. The whole place was clean and the owners showed us around the camp site facilities for when we come again. They are truly amazing people. I would love to come here in the summer though I will be back in may for the motorbike show on the 18th.
The showers I did notice that there is a small charge , but they are clean and they are a great size.

Nice site, lovely views close enough to Flamingo Land (about 8miles) nice bar on site. Not very in-pressed with the toilets or shower block only a small cabin and also have to pay for shower, and £10 deposit.

Could be a very nice site, good location, but spoilt by outdoor pot-wash area with no hot water and overgrown with nettles; the small toilet / shower block not very clean with only one of the two showers working and the interior lights not working

Booked to stay at the Snooty Fox for one night in one of their rooms, decided to stay for three as the place far exceeded my expectations. There is food available all day in the on site cafe, a friendly pub with real log fire, beautiful scenery and only a few miles from Scarborough and Brid. All my wishes granted in one go. Will be staying there again and again. Taking the motor home next time and going with friends. They are having a fund raising week end for the Air Ambulance on 17th and 18th June so we will be visiting then to see the classic cars and tractors and ariel motorbikes. Well worth the trip see you soon.

This was our first taste of caravaning. The owners are very friendly & helpful. A small site behind a very nice pub. Toilets and showers basic but clean. Being a small site we found other campers helpful & chatty. Dog & child friendly. What more can I say? It was 30 miles from home, has inspired us to get a bigger & more modern unit and will visit again in 2006 for long weekends.
