 We always stay on this site. It might be a bit basic but thats camping if you want 4star then the hotels will charge you 4 star. The site is always kept clean and tidy the loo's are clean and the showers HOT . The equestrian centre is next door if you want to go trekking and there are plenty of walking trails . A very friendly site. The regulars should really keep this site a secret to themselves.

We arrived on Friday night, it was very relaxed and pitched where we wanted to. The site is very basic, but an ideal base to stay to visit the local sites. There is electric hook-ups, the 2 toilets were portaloo's, and the showers are basic as well, all facilities were unisex. The children enjoyed seeing the horses every day too. Only £9 a nite. Not bad value at all. Not sure if we'll visit again as we want to try other sites in the area.

If you want a peaceful site, this is the one for you. We paid £7.50 for a caravan with electric hook-up, 2 adults and 2 children. The toilets were portaloos and unisex! And the shower was 10p, also unisex. The site was uneven and you parked where there was a gap big enough! If you want beatiful surroundings it has it. Trees on 3 sides and an equestrian centre on the other. Even though its very basic I loved it, a little bit of rough never hurt anyone. For what you pay you can't complain,if you want all the facilities go up the road and pay at least double!
