Myself and 8 of my 'girl friends' have just returned from a very pleasant stay at this site. There were two motorhomes and a tent.

The toilets were immaculate, also was the shower. We had use of a fridge/freezer, there was also a toaster and kettle available free of charge and a washing machine was also available for a small charge.

The owners came over to our pitch to welcome us to their site. We were on Pitches, 1, 2 & 3 - from here there were splendid views, but pitch 3 is on rather a slope. The grass is kept short. We had a dog with us also and there was no charge for him and there was a dog walk available.

It was a very peaceful site and the owner kindly showed myself and one of my friends her beautiful garden yesterday - she is a font on knowledge with regards to plants.

I would recommend this site to those of you in need of a relaxing break/holiday.

Beautiful site. We stayed here for 5 nights and it was lovely.

The site and facilities are immaculate and the owners friendly and helpful and welcoming. One of the nicest sites we have found in our many years of camping and touring.

Down the road at Llansteffan is a free car park, fish and chips, icecream, sea and sand! A very nice spot to while away some sunny hours.

Llanybri village was very pretty and the hedgerows all around were full of spring flowers on our visit.

The dog walk was excellent - hubby and the dog enjoyed their walks there every day.

A fabulous little site - looking forward to going back there whenever we can.

I stayed here for 2 nights with my dog. The owners of the site are very friendly lovely people. Just a small site but with every facility you could wish for. About a mile and a half from the beach down hill but there's a free carpark with loads of room or the bus back every couple of hours. Opposite the bus stop is 'The Sticks', I popped in while waiting for the bus, the dog was given her own bowl of water, a doggy treat and lots of love! Also the pub in Llanybri has friendly locals! Plenty of walks for the dog on the beach although the central part is dog free. My visit was only spoilt on my first night by lack of sleep due to 3 extremely loud (possibly drunk having returned from the pub at midnight!) females. So campers beware. If you camp near 3 females in a bronzy coloured VW. MOVE!

We absolutely loved this tiny site, having spent 2 nights here, but wishing we could have stayed much longer.

The 'facilities' are very minimal and basic, but are very clean and tidy. The two toilets and 1 shower are all in one small room, which is also part of the washing up room, and this is all built in to what is best described as a 'summer lean-to', on the back of the owners house, and if you can handle that, this is probably as close to camping in a farmers field away from it all as you can get, and you'll love it.

It's a very pretty site, and although it's right next to a road junction, I'm sure anybody could handle the passing traffic, which may amount to as many as 2 cars an hour! Each pitch had its own picnic bench complete with citronella candle and solar lamp, the washing up room had a kettle to make tea and coffee, a fridge for all to use, and a washing machine should you need it. It's in quite a remote and quiet location, but just a 10 minute drive from the A40 which takes you anywhere in Pembrokeshire, so it's still close enough to the many tourist places for visiting.

The owners are delightfully eccentric, and from items put up in the cleaning/washing room, they are the King and Queen of the estate, and many campers staying with them are given equally regal titles such as Earls and Lords and Ladies, which was an amusing and homely way of making people feel very welcome.

There is a pub, The Farmers Arms, just a very short walk from the site, (I've walked further on other camp sites just to get to the shower block). It seems this pub has just recently been refitted, and is run by a very welcoming young couple. But the best thing about this pub was as well as regular pub food, they also do excellent authentic Thai cuisine, which was very fresh and good value for money, I thought the Thai food was better than some of the Thai restaurants I dine in with clients in London, and I wish the owners every success, it certainly seemed busy for somewhere so 'off the beaten track'. We can't recommend this pub enough.

This campsite won't be to everybody's taste, but it's well maintained and tidy, and we loved it.

We stayed at this site for two nights. It is very small as there are only 8 pitches. The pitches all had a picnic table by them, there is BBQ equipment for any of the campers that want to use them, just bring your own charcoal. It suited my my wife and I down to the ground. We didn't want a lot of people around or any noise so just having a few spaces was great. The grass area is very well kept and the views are smashing. There were flowers and shrubs etc everywhere.

There are all the usual facilities shower block, and toilets with provision for washing up etc. All very clean.

The owners Colin and Aurelia were very friendly and very helpful and nothing was too much trouble at all.

The camp site is just as you get into the village of Llanybri, which is a bit off the beaten track but it was very easy to get to and very easy to find. The campsite is only a 2 minute walk from the village pub which does meals and the people running it were also very friendly and helpful.

You have to go through the village of Llansteffan to get to Llanybri which is about a mile or so away and there is a really big beach there with a cafe etc. So if it is the beach you want then this campsite could be ideal but you'll have a fairly longish walk to get to the beach from the campsite but the excellent thing about Llanseffan beach was there wasn't any parking charges and loads of space. Bargain!

The fees for each night including the electric hook up for two occupants was £14. 00 so it really was an exceptional price that we paid for the very good facilities provided and excellent value for money.

We found this site perfect for us.

Our hosts were extremely friendly and helpful.

The water and rubbish were close to hand. The shower, only one, but then it is a small site, was powerful, hot and clean. The toilets were very clean too.

There was plenty of info on were to go, and there is info on all the animals that are on the site, most of which are rescued. It was strange at first seeing a hen at the tent door, but we came to look forward to their visits.

There is no children's play area, which is what we wanted. Children are welcome and the animals make a change from climbing frames. Masses of dog walking area. Dogs are made very welcome, including a welcoming treat!

Never got time to go in to the village. A week was not long enough, so we are going again!

The lanes are narrow around the village, but it is very rural. We did a lot of travelling to Tenby and a like, but it was worth doing the miles because of the lovely camp site. If you want night life, this is not the site for you.

We found the facilities i.e showers/toilets and water very clean and within easy reach. The other campers were also very friendly and the site well kept and we also enjoyed having the sheep/chickens and naughty cockerel around. They all liked to visit the campers daily witch was quite nice and good for children.

There is a 'tearoom that makes morning tea and coffee plus bacon rolls etc.Right outside the camp site it's open from 08.00am to 16.00pm and there is a local pub/shop a mile away in the village of llansteffan and the town of carmarthen is also within easy reach just a short drive away.

Oh yes and while I remember all caravans/tents also have access to hook up points if they wish.

Stayed here for just a night and it seemed strange why there are so few reviews considering it's quite popular. Site is just outside the village of Llanybri quiet collection of houses but the village pub recently shut down.

The site is a small level field, lots of EHUs and reasonable space. Owner tries to pitch like minded souls together where possible but it was a friendly site where people happily talked to each other.

There's a dog walking field that we strolled around and some goats and chickens to fascinate toddlers. The chickens are inquisitive and confidently wander the site. There's one shower, two toilets, functional and clean. There's also a washing machine, dryer and lots of posters and leaflets for the surrounding area.

We only went into Llansteffan about a mile down a fairly steep hill so not impossible to walk but you probably won't. Llansteffan has a huge beach, great views from its castle of the Gower and free parking.

It's a lovely spot and the owners run a charming uncommercialised site world's apart from C&C club sites or commercial monster sites. Recommended.

This is a lovely, well kept campsite with great views. The toilets, shower and washing up area were clean and tidy. The other campers were very friendly, as was the owner, who liked to come round and visit each tent/caravan for a chat every day. We enjoyed some great food in the pub in Llansteffan (about a mile down the road), and also in the cafe in their village shop.

Lovely clean site on smallholding. We were made very welcome by Aurielia and Collin who helped us as it was our 1st time as caravaners and we were a little green to say the least.
Site has 1 shower and 2 toilets and use of washing machine and tumble-dryer, the shower block was cleaned every day.Pub nearby providing excellent food but you need the appetite of an ox to eat it all (also very reasonably priced).
A great location for touring west Wales as it's very central. A triumph for our 1st adventure. Janet & Jim McKendry.
