This is a typical caravan club site good clean facilities, nicely laid out (liked the low hedges separating the pitches) which were of a good size and very well maintained ! Very friendly wardens (some of the best we've come across) however from a motor homers point of view it's not in a good situation being about 5 miles from Blackpool centre with no public transport near by (40 minute walk to the nearest bus stop which is via dangerous no pavement dual carriage ways and country lanes ! Felt like we were taking our lives in own hands just to get to the bus stop ! Which is a great shame as the public transport around Blackpool is superb £4. 50 for an all day go anywhere bus & tram ticket ! And cycling is not good from the site as nearly all roads are fast dual carriage ways with no cycle lanes !

Usual Caravan Club standard, although grounds weren't quite as manicured as other sites we have been to. Facilities spotless and wardens welcoming.
Situated within a short drive to Blackpool and surrounding area and easy to find.
Minor issue for dog owners as you have to dodge the traffic on the road to walk them as there isn't a roadside path or a dog walk, in fact many signs to make you aware dogs are low down the pecking order at this site.
Still had a lovely weekend though.

We Last visited this site 5 years ago and really liked it. This time however we were disappointed the whole site looked run down with weeds coming through the hardstanding. The wardens were extremely nice and welcoming and the toilets lovely and clean. However our nights stay was further marred when my wife tripped on the lock blocking outside the ladies and fell leaving her for a few days feeling like she had done 10 rounds in a boxing ring. Don't think we will stay here again.

Lovely site, well situated for Blackpool and surrounding area.
The wardens couldn't be more helpful. The pitches were large and spacious.
Toilet/Shower facilities excellent. Plenty of hot water and the shower had good pressure.
Everywhere was spotlessly clean. Single toilet's available whilst main blocks were being cleaned.
This was our first trip away with our 2 year old Grandson, he was delighted with the wee bath/shower in the Baby Changing room. He also enjoyed the park.
We were parked near to the Toilet/Shower block (Pitch 9) the hedge was close to the road which was busy, but once settled we did not notice the traffic. Good television signal.
Easy to get into Blackpool 10 min drive. If using your Motorhome don't park on the front as there are restrictions(we didn't read the restrictions and got a fine!) we finally parked in the Lonsdale Car Park next to Blackpool F. C. Easy to find at the end of a busy day.
We will certainly use this campsite again and will be encouraging our friends to do the same.

We tend to visit this site once a year for a week. You can rely on the site for cleanliness of the facilities and friendliness from the wardens.
Access is easy from the motorway, although this can lead to some traffic noise on some pitches although not enough to disturb sleep. There are two security barriers to ensure safety.
All pitches are large and hard-standing, it does look a bit like a concrete jungle but the size of pitches make up for this I feel. The toilet block contains the usual toilets, sinks in cubicles and showers. I have never had to queue but I can imagine they may be stretched at peak periods.
You do need a car from this site as it is quite far from any attractions and there is a lack of public transport / pavements. There are a couple of supermarkets within 5/10 minutes drive.
Nearby is Blackpool which keeps the kids quiet for a couple of hours, but also St Annes which in my opinion is a much nicer place with a decent beach where you can take the dogs, a pier and several shops.

Excellent site wardens could not be more helpful
Slight noise from the road but not enough to effect our sleep we found tv signal to be very good pitch 65.
No dog walk on site but a good grassed area immediately outside site.
Excellent facilities and a added bonus of a single toilet for use when the main toilet was being cleaned baby and toddler room was clean and lovely and warm.
A short drive gets you to Blackpool and all the attractions and supermarket are very close less than a five minute drive.
Would really recommend this site and will be returning again before the year is out.

First time we have used this site. Very clean and tidy and wardens were all very helpful and polite.
A little road noise from Cropper Road, would suggest stay away from the pitches near the main gate and the security light over the wardens garage is very bright at night, if you have to pitch near the office, point away from it so the light doesn't get you.
The pleasure Beach is approx. 2 1/2 mile away, it took us 40 mins on our bikes as no bus goes near the site.
Will use again if visiting Blackpool.

This site is ideally situated for visiting Blackpool. Easy to find and within 5-10 minute drive of all the main attractions.
The site is extremely clean and well presented and the wardens were very helpful and friendly.
There is a shop on site selling essentials, and there is a large supermarket within half a mile or so.
There is an on-site park for the children to play and as with all club sites we have visited, it felt very family-friendly.
As mentioned there was some noise from the busy roadside but nothing too serious and I will definitely return again.

We stayed at this site for 5 nights over the Easter weekend and thought it lovely. The site is easy to access from the motorway, as people have said before; use the Caravan Club directions as they are spot on. The site is about 5 mins from Blackpool Centre and there are 3 supermarkets within a 5 min drive.
The toilet block was kept clean, as was the pot wash room. The only draw back was that there were only 5 showers in the ladies so there was quite a queue in the mornings when the site was full.
The pitches are a very good size with ample space for the caravan, awning, car and room for sitting out side too.
We will definitely be returning in the future
