We found this camp site to be very relaxing due to its few but spacious enough pitches. The pitches and grounds are tidy with well maintained shower, kitchen, washroom and bin facilities.
The owner is friendly and helpful with knowledge of local activities and places of interest. Shops are within walking distance and a couple of pubs are close by which serve food and provide live music at weekends. Showers are at no extra cost and hook-up easy.

The dreadful weather in August did not dampen the beautiful and dramatic scenery that is within easy distance of this site. The local garage / shop was well stocked and did a great breakfast in the cafe.

The site is well placed, clean, and managed by truly friendly and helpful people - Pauline and Art went to great lengths to ensure that we were settled in and familiar with the facilities. The two tent-campers with us were a bit disappointed that their pitches were not level and we found the hardstanding pitches very close together.
The midges are bad, really bad, but Art was happy to assist in getting a good smoky fire going, which gave us all a break from being eaten alive. The showers and toilet block are clean, with good pressure. I was a bit surprised at the chicken wire ceilings and not having a disposal point for the chemical toilet made us nervous of using our own facilities!
Oh, and there isn't a laundry (which was one of our criteria when searching for a site) - but you can get washing done for a price.

I'm not going to write that we found the most gorgeous beach in Europe only a few miles away, or you'll all end up crowding it next year!

This was the first time my wife and son had been camping and I could not have picked a better site. Brilliant to say the least, the owners could not do enough to be of help(even more so when my car broke down). Well worth a vist. Looking forward to going again this summer.

A quiet, peaceful little site in the middle of nowhere made very special by the owners Pauline and Art. Caters mainly for tents, a few caravan spaces available. Plenty to see and do in the area, beaches, parks, towns and good walking country all nearby. Free showers on site, plenty of hot water at all times. Owners very knowledgeable about the area and full of good ideas for days out with the family.
Breakfast available on request (book the day before) 8 Euro will get you a bag of laundry washed and dried. Internet access available. We did have one issue when campers arrived and pitched practically on top of us.(within 3 feet) We felt intimidated off our pitch and left a day early. Having said that, this was not the fault of the owners but of the inconsiderate campers, the owners were most apologetic and indeed did not charge us for the last night we spent there or the night we cancelled by leaving early.
Wouldn't stop me going back, a lovely site, see you next year!

This is my second visit to this brilliant campsite, very peaceful and set in beautiful surroundings, it makes a perfect base to explore this beautiful part or Ireland (the Highlands), Pauline and Art are the perfect host’s, welcoming and friendly; they make you feel at home as soon as you arrive.
As has been mentioned in previous reviews, there are two pubs only 2-3 mins walk from the campsite, Leo’s is great for food which they serve until 8 pm approximately (well take booking for), and the food is great, as to what to do locally, well there is just too much to go into in depth here, suffice to say, in brief, watching Golden Eagles, sea fishing, or daytrip on the ferries to Aran mor or Tory Islands, to name but a few things ,I could go on but that would just spoil it for you.
Or just relax and enjoy the peace and serenity.

This is a fabulous campsite, all due to the owners who made our stay very enjoyable. It was the first time we went camping with our two children (who are two and one) we were a bit apprehensive about taking them but even they were made very welcome and all their needs were catered for. This site is in a lovely countryside setting with a fabulous pub (Leo's Tavern) up the road. A great base for visiting all the delights of West Donegal. Facilities are all included in the price, which was great. A very relaxing and extremely friendly campsite with wonderful owners.

We will definitely be back.

For those wanting a small, quiet, friendly site it doesn't get better than this. Caters mainly for tents but a few spaces for caravan / campervans. Very clean facilities, hot showers included in fee. Breakfast available if booked in advance. Proprietors very welcoming and extremely helpful. Good base for walking, beaches and visiting places of interest in Donegal. Excellent pub "Leo's Tavern" a few minutes walk up the road. Nightly music and very good, reasonably priced food served until 8.30pm. What more could you want!

We absolutely loved this site. It is everything we love small, quiet, peaceful, well maintained and obviously enjoyed by its owners.
There are two pubs within 4-5 minutes walking distance one being the famous Leo's Tavern (home to Clannad and Enya) where live music is held most evenings in the Summer.
The toilet block is kept wonderfully clean and replenished and has in built audio entertainment. The kitchen also has several day tours of surrounding areas listed on the wall. For those who are unable to bear being seperated from UKCampsite.co.uk during their holiday internet access can be arranged.
The beauty of this site is its intimacy so if you want a large site with built entertainment, clubhouse, pool etc this probably is not the site for you. But for peace to catch up on your reading and absolutely no fuss and the usual rules give Sleepy Hollows a try. I know we'll be back.
It is so good that if it was closer to home I wouldn't be sharing it with you.
