We had just over a week on the site and it was great! Although the site is quite large, the pitches are set up in little groups so there is quite a lot of privacy. There are various size pitches, and our pitch was plenty big enough to fit our Vango Diablo 600, car and table etc.
The site has loads of trees and flowers around so looks lovely. It has a private path down to the beach and costal path (which is code locked for security). The beach is lovely - white sand and turquoise sea (but the water is still pretty cold!).
The shop stocks all the basics and it's only a short drive to Nevez if you want to stock up. There is a takeaway onsite (only tried the pizzas but they weren't great.) and a bar.
The swimming pool was very nice, with a baby pool for the kids and a seperate area with water slides etc. The washing facilities are fine although the area for washing up was a bit basic.
Hopefully, we'll be back!

This is a fairly large campsite with good facilities. The toilets and showers were clean and well maintained, and the shop had an excellent range of food, drink and other essentials. The staff were friendly and speak English for the most part but I would advise at least trying to speak French if you can as they appreciate it.
Pitches are generous, well sheltered by large trees, and separated by hedges. This helped make the campsite feel spacious and not too sterile. The beach is a short walk away and is gorgeous, being, sandy, sheltered and picturesque. A couple of degrees warmer and the sea would have felt like the Med as well as looking like it.
Surprisingly quiet at night apart from the sound of waves crashing on the beach and wind blowing in the trees. However, a folk festival is held not far away for one or two nights in August which can be a bit noisy - my advice would be to go and join in with the fun!
The surrounding area is great for coastal walks or cycling and well worth exploring. Nearby Pont Aven is an excellent place to visit for its restaurants, art galleries, gardens and river attractions.

We stayed here in August 2002, our 2nd visit to France. Great site, lovely pools, though they've been extended since we went. The facilities were good. Good on site shop and take away/bar. The play area was good. They had weekly night time entertainment, disco, travelling circus ( ours loved it ). There was a decent supermarket within a few miles. The direct beach was a longish walk but excellent, though no toilet facilities which was a bind. Ice cream seller came along daily.

Having travelled for 19hrs we finally arrived at this site, it was very clean and the staff were very helpful. The pitches were of a good size although quite shady, which as I worship the sun, was a bit of a downer, but having said that the tent didnt become uncomfortable due to the heat. The beach was a pleasant walk away and clean, although being the atlantic the sea was cold, the children loved the rock pools, I would highly recommend the mussels! Concarneau is about a half hour drive away but definitely worth it to see the walled city. All in all one of the best holidays we have had

June 2004 If you are looking for a great family holiday on a smaller site this is quite possibly the site for you! Situated in the village of Nevez this family run site is immaculately clean, pitches are well kept and bordered by hedges. Water is provided close to every pitch and electric hook up is available on all pitches. The childrens playground is well maintained with a safety surface underfoot and good quality play equipment. There are also two trampolines and a games area for football and volleyball. The pool is quite new and kept immaculate with several flumes and a lovely baby and toddler pool which is heated to a very pleasant temperature, perfect for younger children to enjoy without getting chilly! There is direct access to Raguenes beach from the rear of the site (dont forget the code for the gate!) and a short walk through a cornfield takes you to a delightful sandy beach
There is a takeaway on site which is open for a few hours each evening and a small bar with very reasonably priced drinks and the owners organise low key entertainment in high season. There is a well stocked shop which has very keenly priced wine (we found the same bottle of wine almost twice the price elsewhere!) and fresh produce available. This is also open for most of the day but if it is shut the staff are happy to open for you! The toilet blocks (UK and continental loos) and washing facilities were also excellent with washing and drying machines as well as plentiful sinks. This is a wonderful site and we would be happy to return.
