I agree with the last review.
Idyllic surroundings, but poor facilities for the (£15) per night stay. (£20) for trailer tents and camper vans.
No electric hookup and getting on and off the site can be very tricky in wet weather because the site is built on boulder clay which turns to mud very quickly
However if you are prepared to 'rough it', this is a relatively safe environment for children and the list of rules is sparse.

The definition of 'Back to basics' - If you don't mind limited/dirty toilets and showers, being miles from the nearest shop or pub, but like the idea of being on a campsite with a fantastic view of a 4 mile beach. We were lucky enough to have this place to ourselves for 4 days. Our stay at Treheli Farm was bliss!
(warning - £15 per night seems a bit steep for a back to basics campsite)

The last review says it all really and I could try and tell you not to go so I can have this site all to myself! It's very beautiful here, so relaxing, you can sit and look out over the bay or go for walks along the coast line.
The toilets are very basic, as are the showers but they do the job. There is hot water near the toilets to wash your dishes.
If you enjoy proper camping with none of this silly electric hook-up nonsence get yourself to this site.

This was my first visit to this camp site and would never have found it were it not for some friends who have been going there every year for the last 20 years!
If any camp site deserved to feature in one of those 'cool camping' glossy books, this is it! Facilities are basic - take your own loo roll and torch to the toilet - showers though are good if you can afford the 20p! The situation is fabulous, overlooking the long sweeping Porth Neigwl ("Hell's Mouth") beach.
This is great walking country so don't come without your OS map, but the simplest is the short scramble down to the beach, which is simply lovely. Be careful not to get stranded though; high tide comes right up to the cliff face and accounts for the possibility that this gorgeous camp ground may not be here in a few years' time due to coastal erosion. Go NOW, while you can! It's cheap as chips too (£8 for a tent, £10 for a camper, no hook up) and very relaxed; the farmer strolled round the morning after I arrived asking for money, and didn't seem to mind that I was still there at 6pm on my departure day!
