This site has no facilities except water and chemical waste disposal you do need to be 'self contained'. There are four fishing lakes and more space than any where else I have ever been.
You can pitch where you like and the views are spectacular. The castle is opposite and we were given half price entry vouchers. There is a tesco nearby and Ledbury has a range of shops. Dogs are welcome on leads.

Just returned from a bank holiday weekend stay and cannot praise the site highly enough.
The Deer Park is spectacular with wonderful views and spectacular old oak trees. We hadn't visited a site with such limited facilities before but found the lack of toilets, play area etc easily manageable.
There were water collection points and chemical toilet disposal points throughout the site, and the kids were happy to play on their bikes so no play area required!
We visited Eastnor Castle and were treated to a Medieval themed day complete with music, armoured combat and court jesters. The kids loved it.
So, all in all, a beautiful location and all for just £6 per night per unit - you really can't go wrong.
In fact, we are going back for the next Bank Holiday weekend!

Visited this site Easter weekend and was pleasantly surprised. The site consists of 6 large camping areas within one very large field. Most of the areas are sloping, some more than others but the whole area is very well maintained and is respected by all campers and day users (picnickers & fishers). There are waste & fresh water points throughout the site and the areas are very clean. You do have to remove all other waste though as there is no refuse collection at the site. No EHU or Toilet/Shower block but don't let this put you off.
Close to Ledbury; small but steeped in history - and take-aways! There is a stunning view of the Castle from the site and if you can catch it just after daybreak wow. Set in the midst of parkland there are some lovely walks. Unfortunately the deer have now been fenced out of the camping area due to damage caused but they still wander through the tree line to the east of the site.
When we visited there were three major rallies being held, Midlands Rover Owners Club, The Worcesters & a branch of the Mini Owners Club and there was a day visit from a branch of the UK Beetle Owners Club. Great to see all the old motors & their owners only to eager to have a chat and show you "theirs"!
All-in-all a great weekend with great company. Highly recommended as a great escape.

May 2004 Hi, visited this site last May for a week had a lovely time. My hubby and Dad fished, had some good catches. This is a lovley site, you are in the middle of a huge park, the deer come down and come close to the caravan. There could be loads of caravan on the site but you can be pitched by yourself if you wish. Not far out of Ledbury and not far from Tewksbury. Lovely site, we are going back again in May. The fishing is free but as no faclities on site.

June 2004 We have stayed here a couple of times now, and will be returning this year.
A very basic site ( no hookup showers or toilets) but stunning views of the castle, park and lakes (free fishing)
A perfect site if you are looking for peace and quite, walking or fishing.
I would advise checking when you book, that there are no events on as these can obviously ruin the peace and quiet
