WOW where do I begin. This site was beautiful! All of the staff were so friendly, helpful, relaxed and welcoming. We have just brought a new camper and thought we would spend the night here to try it out. After reading some of the reviews I cannot believe what people have said.
The showers and toilets were spotless and very close to the pitches so not far to walk in the middle of the night. For people with dogs there is a nice open field near by to walk them, and my daughter made new friends with the horses and ducks. She didn't want to leave when it was time to go.
The track down to the site is not bad at all our camper managed it with ease. We will definitely be returning to this site again with friends before the summer is out I expect.
A big thanks to all the staff for making us feel so welcome

We have stayed at Home farm many times, it is in the country, and a lovely setting. You would not believe you are so close and convenient for London. It is also very close to Whiskey garden centre and many national trust places.
The owners have always been helpful. The pitches are flat and lovely views. Everything is close to hand.

We were very nearly put off this site by the previous reviews, which would have been a great shame as it was ideal for what we needed.
The main purpose of our stay was to visit the University of Surrey in Guildford with our son, for which Hoe House was ideally situated with the railway station less than 5 minutes walk away. We weren't intending to put an awning up so the size of the pitch wasn't an issue and it didn't rain much so I can't comment on the drainage.
We were greeted on arrival by three chickens who came to investigate and later by a crocodile of ducks. In the evening a Tawny Owl could be heard hooting, and I heard what sounded like a fox barking.
The toilet and shower were both clean (although the room was not very warm in October) and 20p gave ample time for a shower.
If you want to use an awning, you don't like chickens, ducks and horses or you have young children who need room to kick a ball around then I concede that this probably isn't the place for you, but if those things don't matter, maybe it is. We would have no hesitation about coming back to Hoe House.

We visited this CL initially booking in for a week. On arrival, after a very bumpy ride down a lane, we couldn't find an available pitch but were directed to an end pitch of 3 by another caravanner. The area we had would not allow us to put up our awning as it would have been on top of next door's caravan. Not too sure if the recommended distances between the vans was being adhered to.
We immediately decided to move on the after 2 nights. It is a shame because this site is in a lovely position with horses, ducks, chickens and lots of birds. Nobody came to see us when we arrived and we did not see anyone when we left. The facilities did not look too good when I looked in but we don't use them anyway.
A bit of TLC at this site with more room for the pitches would make it a very nice CL.

Beautiful site, really well situated for train station (less than a 5 minute walk). From there it's half an hour to Waterloo (not on Sundays). Amazing that you can be somewhere so pretty and rural and yet so close to central London.
Handy for Woking and Guildford too, the trains go once an hour or it's a short drive.
Lots of deer and rabbits as well as the horses, ducks and chickens.
Very friendly and helpful owners. There is one shower and toilet, the shower costs 20 pence. It's adequate, the whole point of CLs is that you have your own facilities anyway so no matter how basic, they are a bonus. If you don't like them - use your own!
Price for 2011 is £13 a night including hookup. Will be £15 a night from 1st Jan 2012.
Great location!

We have visited this site twice now and I must be honest and say although it is a lovely little oasis in the middle of Woking & Guildford, the pitches leave a lot to be desired. There is no drainage for the rain of which we had quite a lot so the pitches were like a quagmire most of the time. They need a lot of improvement.
The toilet facilities are basic, with no heating in the winter. We did not use the shower, preferring to use our on board facility.
It is a great site when the sun is shining, with horses and a goat to say hello to, plus numerous species of birds around and a fox that can sometimes be spotted running across the lower field.
The surrounding facilities are good, as the site is situated between 2 large towns.
All in all, it is what it is, a very basic CL site, but the people are friendly and in the right weather (not raining) a pleasant place to be.

What an unexpected delight, we had easy access to the main line into London. We have a dog and the common for walking him was just a stone throw away. The toilets are basic but clean and tidy and have everything you need. The site is very picturesque but a little wet when we were there. We had a warm welcome on arrival and the same on departure. We have already booked are next stay and will be there two weeks this time.

This was to be our first stay on a CL. We drove on, the women showed us around and then we drove sraight off! The pitch, so called hard standing, was cinder and hard core, and they were so close to the other pitches you couldn't put an awning up, the other pitch was under mud. The toilet and shower was dirty and 20p for a shower (which is not mentioned in the club directory). My wife asked where abouts we empty our waste water the reply was let it drain onto the ground! She then asked where we empty the toilet the reply was the room next door which my wife did not want to enter. All this for £13 per night, which in our opinion is quite steep for a CL of this standard.
