This was our first caravan club site stay and it gave us an excellent impression of caravan club sites.
When finding the site - the turning from the main road could easily be missed (and was!) so keep your eyes peeled.
All the facilities were excellent, pitches spacious and the staff friendly/helpful - only down side was that there was no play area for the kids.

Stayed here for 8 nights in monsoon weather with our 2 kids. Loos, showers and everything else about the site is fantastic. A bit basic in so far as there is no play area for kids, and ball games are not allowed but the wardens made us feel very welcome. Also available to use are washing machine / tumble dryer / spin dryer / iron. And site has a tourist information hut - we found the info here really useful. Much under mentioned shop was good for essential foodstuffs, gas and even sold us a really lovely cream tea. TV reception was brilliant, and on the odd dry night we enjoyed the wild rabbits were fun to watch! If you like peace and quiet you will love it here. If you want a haven type holiday then forget it! We loved the place and would recommend it :-)

Stayed on this site for two nights on route to France via Plymouth , as I remember the wardens were very welcoming and the facilities were spotless as you would expect from a C.C site
Chard is about 5 miles away and is worth a visit and has all the big supermarkets you would expect
Local people were quit friendly
Will return again when going via plymouth

We stayed just for a couple of nights and had a great time. The kids made lots of friends. The site was welcoming and warden very helpful. Amenities spotless. Nice and convenient for South Somerset countryside and also the south coast. Access not too difficult but the site is a long way down a single track lane so you need to be lucky!
