 This is an excellent, small campsite in a rural location, where touring caravans, motorhomes and tents are welcome. Pitches have electric hookups, and some pitches are fully serviced, with electricity, water and grey water drainage.
The view across the valley is very beautiful. All facilities are here, including WiFi across the site, and are included in the price. The toilets and showers are clean. Dogs are allowed, on a lead.
There are communal gazebos here for the use of all campers, and I can see that this is useful for people in tents who may experience bad weather. A thoughtful touch is the availability of two gas barbecues near the gazebos.
Every afternoon, the owners feed the red kites which are abundant in this area. This is quite a spectacle as up to 100 birds accumulate in the sky beforehand. The feeding session is a joy for photographers and for general viewing. This red kite feeding display is not open to the public and can only be witnessed by those lucky enough to be staying at this campsite.
The new owners are hardworking, friendly and very helpful. They have been running this site for 18 months and have re-established this campsite after years of neglect. There is small shop selling basics. There are also four static vans here which are available for rent.
Nature-lovers will love this place. There is a lot to do in the area. Beaches at Aberystwyth or Aberaeron are about 20 to 30 mins drive away. The Cors Caron Nature Reserve is a short distance away and the scenery in the Cambrian mountains is lovely.
Tregaron has nice pubs and cafes, with good food. There is an excellent Spar supermarket in Tregaron.
We have stayed here in a touring caravan for a week and we are thrilled with this site. It is peaceful and relaxing. I can highly recommend Aeron View Camping for a very enjoyable stay.

I have just spent a very peaceful and pleasant week at Aeron View Campsite.
The site is quite small and lovely with a nice view across a valley. It is far from any main roads so it is quiet but conveniently close to Tregaron which has a good Spar supermarket, petrol station and pubs/restaurants.
Showers and toilets all look new as do the washing up areas. There is also a fridge and a washing machine for the use of campers which I found very useful indeed. All facilities are kept spotlessly clean.
Red Kites know that the owners feed them each day and gather impressively for a short while, swooping and whistling. Good photo opportunities!
A really friendly place.

This campsite was a gem of a find. We had a very warm welcome from the owners who were very helpful. The toilet, utility room and shower facilities are brand new and everything was very clean and tidy.
Seeing the owner feed the Red Kites was also a real treat. The site is located in a rural location, 15 miles from Aberystwyth, which is the nearest beach, but it is very peaceful and quiet and relaxing.
My wife and I would thoroughly recommend this site to anyone.

Aeron View is a gem of a site with wonderful views over the valley/countryside to the SW, open to lots of sunshine yet sheltered by trees from the worst of the winds.
The new owners have worked hard in the past year to bring this site up to a very high standard with good drained pitches, ultra clean toilets/showers and a bonus is the free washing machine/dryer. Also many electric hook up and water points.
Nick & Dina gave us a warm welcome and were very helpful with directions, local places to visit like a restored watermill just down the lane from the site, plus of course places like Strata Florida, Aberaeron and the beautiful New Quay.
Nick even sorted out my engine problem which had developed on the way!
Try Aeron View if you want tranquility, beautiful scenery and helpful owners. You will not be disappointed. We found EE and 3 mobiles workee for us. Blanche & Kester

Have to agree with previous reviewer. Lovely views, quiet and relaxing weekend. Owners very helpful even helped us handball the van onto pitch as we arrived late due to Bank Holiday traffic. Lovely visitors in the statics and knew the area well gave us plenty of tips on where to go and what to see.
Usually use bigger sites with more facilities but have changed our thinking - compact, clean and friendly is lovely. Toilets, shower, laundry, waste disposal functional and clean. Electric hookup lit at night (very useful for us).
Look out for the gate leading onto the property we missed it twice and its a heck of a trek to turn around. Not much going on in Bleanpennal but within travelling distance of lots of other places of interest and usefulness including New Quay, Aberaeron and Tregaron.
Tv and mobile phone service though is almost non existent - a real getaway from it all site.

Many thanks for a very peaceful and relaxing stay - it was just what we needed. Campsite was lovely and quiet with good facilities - clean toilets and hot water.
View was lovely to wake up to in the mornings. Good local amenities a few minutes down the road.
Owners of the campsite were very friendly and couldn't do more to help you
