This site is much larger than the 11 pitches suggested above, 12 generous EHU pitches in one field and another tent only field with no electric but closer to the toilets and showers (surprisingly). Both fields where relatively flat with lushious trimmed grass and plenty of room for children to play.
I phoned the morning of our arrival to book a pitch of which they had plenty available, in fact I was surprised there were only 3 caravans and one other tent.
Cost was £20 a night for a unit with 4 people including electric and £10 deposit for gate key, shower facilities were free and relied on a 'leave it as you wish to find it' cleaning. There were toilet brushes and bins in the toilets which were bleached regularly however a mop would have been useful.
I only went in the pub to book in and check out but it seem pleasant enough with a nice play area for children.

We requested to stay here last year which was technically 'out of season' for the Angel, but they kindly agreed to allow us to stay anyway. We were staying in a small tourer with 4 dogs(!) and had hook-up which was a bonus as it allowed us to use our 800w DeLonghi heater to keep the chill off the van without the hassle of lighting the gas heater! This was welcome, as although the weather was fine, this late in the year the mornings and evenings were 'sharp', with frost in the clear mornings.
Our pitch was sheltered behind a hedge, and all the pitches appeared to be flat, and the field was green & well maintained.
The toilets & showers on the camping area were kept open 24hours, with rubbish and recycling facilities available. All this was less than a minute walk from anywhere on the field.
The overall highlight was the great food and atmosphere at the Angel Inn itself, just a stones throw from the camping area.
All good for us :-)

Very clean and well maintained campsite. Common toilets and shower good facilities. Has a small play area for children. Rent for Camp site very reasonable. Restaurant offers good breakfast but expensive. We booked a table for dinner but as was running late and children were getting very hungry had to cancel our table. We still got charged £10 penalty, which I felt was a bit unfair.
Overall a family friendly place.

Possibly the best ground I’ve ever experienced for pitching tents, in our group of five tents only one person found a stone!
Perfectly situated to explore west Norfolk. Ideal for Snetterton race circuit (it's walkable but only a five minute drive) and within stumbling distance of England's only whisky distillery!
Facilities were also much better than I'd expected.
Would highly recommend and would use again next time we're in the area.

Lovely level site with good soil to put the tent pegs into.
Nice and clean shower block and separate toilet block.
The dish washing area was small but clean. Was ideal height for my children to wash the pots. Woohoo.
Playground was across the road at the pub.
The barmaid was lovely and friendly.
The pub had a weekly whiskey and there is a distillery not far away providing Englands only whiskey.
Other local facilities tried were a massive model shop (think everything from lego to gamesworkshop to trains)a tank museum and a fab sunday market.
We stayed here using mirror camping vouchers and had a great time. Was value for money for us but I don't know how much it would have cost normally, but would probably go back at full cost.
Oh and there is a rookery in the trees behind the site. An amazing thing to see them all in flight.

Nice little site that is well kept and run by friendly staff.
Campsite is located over the road from the pub. We stayed in the rally field over a long weekend and really enjoyed our visit here.
Toilets are basic but clean and well kept. Everything you need is on site.
Pub is lovely - good beer and food.
Close to main road but I was not aware of any traffic noise during our stay.

Just spent a delightful weekend here. Camp field was great flat and even, the toilets and showers were clean and acceptably sufficient for the number of units allowed on site.
Food at the pub was above average for England. The beer and cider was great. The landlord and staff are very friendly without being intrusive and were also very efficient. The landlord knew his beers and the weekly selection was fantastic. I have already booked to go there again soon. They are in the process of installing a fab play area for kids right next to the beer garden and all safely fenced.
This is a popular place with travellers and locals alike so you need to book if eating or camping there. The noise mentioned by others was unnoticeable after a while it certainly didn't stop me sleeping. Forgot to mention that they have a whiskey selection to rival most places. Irish, Scotch, English and Japanese as well as a few more I suspect.

The campsite is situated about 200 yds from the Angel pub. Its also situated about 200 yds from the A11 and about 12 mls from RAF Mildenhall. Attleborough is about 4 mls away and has all the shopping you want. Full of individual shops, plus a Sainsburys. Snetterton Race Track and Sunday market are close-up too. As you can imagine, its noisy. But if you buy ear-plugs you will get some sleep! The pub is excellent with great food and drink. The staff are very helpful and courteous. The sites facilities lack a washing-up area. Although the showers and toilets are ok, the gents washing and shaving areas have only one mirror but 4 wash basins. There is no playground. Handy for the Norfolk and Suffolk attractions. Busy site when beer festivals are on. Don't think we'll return.

Stayed 2 nights (extended to 3) over August Bank Holiday which we booked the day before. Facilities were clean with nice showers and loads of hot water, tents are on gated field nearest to toilet block (and pub). Prices reasonable with £10 deposit for gate key. There is large rookery in forest nearby and swallows/bats overflew our tent in the morning/evening. The dual carriageway A11 is nearby but we quickly ignored road noise and it least it meant we didn't hear those quiet sounds that seem to be curiously amplified when you go camping. (like people whispering in tent 1/2 mile away). The pub has two bars, a wide range of food and 5 real ales including a mild. Nearby is England's only whiskey distillery (St Georges) which has a good tour and shop. There is a nice farm shop and restaurant at Elveden, though there always seems to be a queue at the Elveden traffic lights You can hire a rowing boat and row up the Ouse at the Bridge at Brandon which also has a riverside garden.

Nice field and toilet and shower blocks were fine. It was a lot closer to a fairly busy road than I thought it would be - and there are no shops in the immediate vicinity, but the fact that it is owned by a pub is a bonus! The pub itself was fine for food (menu was very diverse, but the food itself didn't exactly blow us away), the staff were great however. Very close for exploring Thetford Forest.
