We stopped off at this site on our way back east after touring Kerry. The site itself is quite remote but the backdrop is stunning. There are a couple of Hotels near by and we tried both for lunch and a tipple!
There is a pub 200 yards out of the main gates, and behind that is a tourist information office where we were told of some great walks to do in the woods which were wonderful. The owners were very friendly and really made you feel welcome. Cash only though! As for the facilities, top notch! On our last day, the local radio station broadcast its breakfast show from the site and the owners put on a BBQ. Great place to stay and would recommend it to anyone.

Stayed here for 2 nights on our way back from the west coast. What a lovely site with very friendly owners. This is a reasonably new site and so everything is still very new looking.
This is a good thing as toilets and showers are immaculately clean, along with free hot water showers. There is a kitchen with toaster and plug socket for microwave and oven, all at a small charge of 50 cents or 1 euro. Table tennis table and pool table. A separate TV room and laundry facilities.
Leaving the park there is a nice hotel 5 mins walk in one direction and a small pub 5 mins in the opposite direction.
Scenery is stunning and great for walking and cycling.
Hope to return in future years

A really nice site with fantastic views. Ideal location for exploring the southern part of Ireland. The owners are very friendly and keep the facilities spotlessly clean. The one down side is that when it rains, and has it rained this month!, the water just sits on the surface of the grass and whilst your van sits on nice hard standing any awnings are in mud.
The owner does intend to double the width of the hard standing in each pitch to over come this problem. If he does I would definitely go back again.

This was brilliant - a fantastic spot, lovely people, clean loos and free showers! We had a wonderful welcome and it was the best equipped, nicest looking and friendliest site we were at on our holiday!
Definately one to go back to when/if I get another holiday!

This is a delightful new site in Co Tipperary which is affiliated to the Caravan Club although it takes tents also. The toilet block is spotless and heated, with separate Ladies and Gentlemen.
It also has a kitchen for wet weather, TV Room and Library, Laundry Room and Recreation Room as well as disabled facilities and serviced hard stands. The views are magnificent of the Galtee Mountains and all in all a wonderful 5 days was spent here.
The proprietors are friendly and helpful and this site deserves to do well. There is another site nearby but it would have to try very hard to match this beautiful new Caravan and Camping Park.
There is a hotel nearby but shops are about 15 minutes drive in Tipperary Town.
