Just returned from a weekend at this site, it is basic but serviceable, they tend to put campers with children on the front field because it is close to the park, but also close to the main road. My main concern is that there are gaps in the fence that children can wander through to get to the main road and children can also get to the road through the play park, this can take away the relaxation element if you have small children.
This site is where we go when we can’t get in our favourite local sites as it always has spaces, however it is caravan focused. The front field also has a BT facility that has a noisy compressor attached to it that activates throughout the night. There are also a number of stinging nettles that have not been cleared away from the park and edges of the field and small children tend to get stung. My advice is go to the back field as it is a lot quieter. Overall the toilets are clean and washing facilities are good but a little ramshackle fridge and washing machine are useful. This is a good site but some attention to details would improve it greatly.

Stayed here a few times over the years.
The site is very basic and a few small things could make it very good indeed, a shower for ladies in the caravan area, a footpath through the farmers field to Eyke and a simple infornation sheet on arrival would all be good ideas.
That said, the staff are always helpful and friendly, the area is delightful and lots of places to go are within easy reach.
Woodbridge has that traditional small town feel to it and for car booters there is a large car boot sale held not far away on the Suffolk Showground site most sundays.
A No Frills site but we'll be going back again which shows our overall satisfaction.

I have visited this site on numerous occasions and keep going back! The staff are so friendly and helpful. It is a smallish site, but with good basic facilities. There is a new shower and toilet block, also New disabled shower and toilet and two additional toilets.I should mention here that it only costs 20p for a shower and it lasts eight minutes, so plenty of time to wash and have a good soak! The kitchen is well equipped with washing facilities, washing machine and tumble dryer, microwave and fridge, iron and ironing board.
The site is well managed and secure, with gates that are closed after dark.
It's true that the small field at the front is close to the main road, but I don't find this intrusive, and there is always the larger field at the back. When the children are playing on the well equipped play area you can't hear the traffic at all! I was interested to read the previous comments regarding the rooster I have never yet heard him, perhaps I am a heavier sleeper than I thought!
There is absolutely masses to do, far to numerous to mention here, briefly though, Sutton Hoo (Well worth a visit) Woodbridge town and Riverside, good shops, Snape Maltings (Again, well worth a visit).

Just spent a lovely weekend, a very friendly basic site. Yes the road noise is a little intrusive on the front field but you soon get used to it. Facilities are basic but clean, there is a fridge, a bonus for campers. My children (and I) loved the play park with its retro roundabout. Plenty to see and do in the local area Woodbridge, Snape and Aldeburgh all within a few miles.

We (Me, better half and daughter) picked this site for a Fri to Sun stay to try out our new tent. The site is basic but clean, Prices are fare and the facilities are clean with excellent power showers for 20p for 8 minutes, fridge freezer and microwave thrown in.
We pitched on the front field which had plenty of space for our Hartford XXL (no restricted pitch sizes).Although there are spaces for extra tents / vans on the back field between the permanent pitched caravans. The front field provided an excellent play field for the children, and the usual games got under way as more families arrived.
The front field is close to a busy road and the noise from the traffic was irritating but bearable, we would choose to use the back field next time. The peacock is still strutting its stuff and sounding off, but we are more accustom to rural sounds than the traffic, so did not mind. We took bikes but decided the road was not suitable for biking with children.
A pleasant site which we would use again for a weekend break as its close by.

Stayed here over a bank holiday with two children. The site was disappointing as play equipment dated and a lot of the touring vans appeared to be permanent fixtures so there was no one for the children to play with. The other tourers were mainly empty at the weekend and used as a base for work by some people during the week (mainly single men occupiers). There was plenty of space between the vans and a large space in the middle of the field but won't not visit again.

Have just got back from a short break in Suffolk, where we stayed at the Gralyns Caravan Park. It is a very quiet, small & tidy park. We have a tent but most of the site is occupied by caravans. There are power showers on site (20p) but they are very warm & clean & well worth paying for! Also a plus for us, was the use of a small room attached to the toilet block, where campers can find & use a washing machine & tumble dryer (at a small cost) iron & ironing board, kettle, fridge & freezer & a microwave! Bonus! There is also 2 play grounds for kids to play on & room for them to play footie & cricket etc. However, my kids were the only kids there during our stay. A short drive from Woodbridge, where shops etc can be found and the local pub is about 10 minutes walk away! Only down side for us was the rooster that lives on the site, with fellow peacocks etc, that woke us up every morning (4.30 am to be exact) with a very load 'COCK A DOODLE DO'!
