The owners of this site were very friendly on our arrival and during our 4 night stay. They were able to offer advice about places to visit and to eat out.
The facilities are basic but the showers and toilets were always clean. The BBQ and picnic area was very useful with large tables to eat at whilst looking out across the bay.
The field was slightly sloping but this wasn't a problem for us as the wonderful views made up for this easily. The night sky was extremely impressive on a clear night as there is no light pollution at all.
We explored the local area and found some quiet and beautiful beaches all within easy reach.
All in all a simple but well run site for a back to basics camping trip.

We arrived late on a damp evening.
The approach to the site is up a very long, narrow single track road. I would not attempt this in anything bigger than a small campervan. The site is in two fields which were both very steep - we stayed by the gate in the only flat area of the second field.
I had a look at the toilet block, but decided to use our facilities in our little bus instead!
The views were fantastic and it was very peaceful. If you had done all your shopping and just wanted to set up and walk the coast it would be fine, but unfortunately it wasn't the site for us.

As has been previously posted, the toilet/shower facilities are basic but adequate, and expect to be on a slope. I can see why the previous contributors have made the negative comments that they did, but I thought this site was like a throwback to the 1960s. But as I am also a throwback to the 60s, I was quite content!
Forgive this site any inadequacies; it is only yards from an absolutely stunning section of the Pembrokeshire Costal Path; there is also a lovely walk to Poppits Bay. Its location has the most remote feel of any site I’ve ever used, the quietness and the stargazing opportunities are fantastic. We all have different needs and wants, but I have given an overall rating of 10/10 based entirely on this alone.
Be very aware that the approach is along about 2 miles of very narrow, winding single track road with widely spaced passing places, and some fairly steep gradients. No problem for cars, small 2 berth outfits and Transit sized motorhomes; until you meet somebody coming the other way that is! Personally, I think it might get problematic for anything larger. It was virtually dry during the whole of our stay (a minor miracle I hear you cry!), but if it was rainy, I would not fancy your chances of getting on and off site. One of the few occasions when a 4x4 would really come into its own.
No local shops. You can get your basics in St Dogmaels, and everything else in Cardigan.
To sum up, this site is not for the faint hearted, as long the sun shines I can think of few nicer places.

Basic campsite. Pretty slopey. Had a nice chat with the owner - very friendly guy.
Toilets/shower were a bit of a nightmare. Toilets were almost always out of toilet paper, and we weren't sure if there was a men's block and a women's block. Shower was ok - just remember your flip flops.
Views were really beautiful, and we were only a stone's throw from the Pembrokeshire Coast Path with stunning views.

This place was a complete nightmare!
The dodgiest looking showers and loos I ever saw!
Couldn't find any flatish pitches and had a herd of ponies galloping around the tent all night - they had a real taste for tent fabric!
Wouldn't have stayed but arrived at dusk with hungry kids!
Also track to campsite isn't for the fainthearted when its wet.

Quite a long walk from nearest bus stop, he might come and pick you up if he's in. Next to coastal path, views of sea and sheep. Basic bathroom block. Inexpensive. Friendly owner. Open all year. No on site shop. Nearest supermarket is Cardigan. Grass not cut that often.
