We arrived here on Saturday afternoon to a sunny flat field site looked well maintained from what we could see. We pitched our family size tent and found that the bathroom's left much to the imagination they where not very clean at all and we had to share toiletss with both male and female. There was only 1 shower for about 40 people( a guess) this broke on the Sunday and we had no showers for the next few days we pulled off soon after and found another site

We have just returned from our first ever camping trip. We picked this site because we wanted somewhere not too far away and not too crowded. Very close to Flamingoland.
We made a fantastic choice. A lovely quiet and extremely friendly site. The toilets were clean and well maintained the field we stayed in nice and flat and child friendly. The gentleman who worked at the Farm (Dave) could not have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble to him. We were amazed to find it only cost £9 per night with E.H.U.Will certainly return very soon.

Site was easy to find & in a good location for visiting the area. The pitches were on a fairly flat field & there were several hardstanding pitches. There was only 1 shower that cost £1. The 3 toilets were OK but paper often ran out & bins were not emptied. To empty our Thetford toilet a manhole had to be lifted without any handle; this was difficult.

A lovely, charming, quaint site. We had such a lovely time - the grass was well maintained and level and the owner was really helpful. During our stay our car battery died (an old mini) and he used his own car to give us a boost. The owner was full of useful tips for wildlife spotting and walks to enjoy. The facilities were good and the rates were cheap - the toilets were cleaned and well maintained. There were some animals just across from the field where we camped (rabbits, ducks etc.) which were a great attraction for young and old kids alike. There is plenty to do - we walked into the local town centre to have a mooch. There is also a pub just across the road with pool and good food. A really enjoyable stay.

This is a small farm site just a couple of miles outside of Pickering. It is a working dairy farm so expect noises from farm animals in particular the cattle. This did not cause any problems though apart from the cockerel, but that is what you expect. The facilities are adequate and clean, 1 shower for all, and 3 toilets (Male, Female & Disabled). The showers cost one pound but the hot water seams to go on for ever so not that expensive when on some sites you can pay up to that in 20p pieces to get a good soaking. Chemical toilet disposal and water point. At only 8 pound a night with EHU, fresh farm milk, butter and cream, this site is well worth a visit, I will be booking again. It was getting quite busy as it was the Pickering Steam show but the owners are very helpful and put you where you want to go if possible. Only problem is entry and exit. If towing it is a long road to look down to ensure it is clear, not much room or passing points on the single track.
