We stayed at this site as a family group i.e 11 of us including visits from my 85 year old mother. It was wonderful. We were very blessed with the weather which was glorious sunshine - despite the forecast! Facilities rustic and a bit of a walk from the tent pitches but I loved them. Water steaming hot and fully equipped. View superb and site itself very friendly. The site adjoins the Pembrokeshire Coastal path. Wonderful walk to Little Haven and beyond which is a quaint seaside hamlet with pub(s?) and little shops ( we were not there long so cannot tell you much about it). Beach was fantastic Dog and children friendly and very worth a return trip - good price too and very relaxing.

Situated at the first junction on the road south out of Little Haven, Howelston has an unsurpassed view of St Brides Bay all the way to St Davids and Ramsey Island and beyond. You can see the refineries at Milford Haven, Roch Castle, St Davids Head and the Preseli Hills. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path is directly opposite the stile in the corner of the lower field, and you can walk it to Little Haven. Or take the road; it's an easy 3/4 of a mile.
The little shop/post office in Little Haven is gone; the nearest grocery shops are in Broad Haven, and Haverfordwest is only 8 miles away via the B4327. Turning right on that road leads to St Brides, Marloes, Skomer Island, and Dale.
The site is divided by a hedge into a lower field for caravans (mostly permanent) and the upper field for tents. The toilet and shower blocks are in the lower field and there's a kitchen sink for washing up. The showers are free. There are two male and two female stalls in the block.
The ground is very hard. Self-inflating foam mats or air beds are pretty much an absolute necessity here. Some parts of the site are on a slope. There is a stand pipe for water and a somewhat chaotic freezer in the farm house for campers, and a local milkman visits every morning; well, every mid-morning - too late for all but late risers.
We always kept this place a secret; it was rarely crowded. On the usual busy main holidays it could be packed, but more often than not there would be plenty of spaces to chose from. It's close to the some of the remotest stretches of the Pembrokeshire Coast Path, vast sandy beaches with aquatic life in the tide pools, and the pubs and restaurants in Little Haven - all within walking distance
