We arrived and there was no one around to direct you and it wasn't that apparent where you could go. However, a regular caravan resident suggested a spot for us otherwise we would have pitched in a place that wasn't ideal. Quite a sloping site but we found an ok pitch. Beautiful views.
However, we found the facilities poor for the price and we are happy with basic. We had a trailer tent with 2 adults and 2 x 3 year olds who we had to pay for (which we didn't expect - website didn't make it clear) so the site fees rose to about £12 or £13 pr night (no ehu).
2 toilets (no queues) and 1 shower which was broken for half the time we were there but no change in site fees. 1 washing up sink which was filthy - my husband cleaned it (wish he would do that at home!) No hot water for washing up which when you are a family of 5 including 1 baby is difficult and is something I would expect for the price.
Overall I would describe it as a rural site, very quiet with beautiful views but was more suited to a caravan than family tents.
By the way - very exposed if the weather is bad.

We stayed just after the Bank holiday together with some friends. The owners were very helpful, advising good places to eat and access to the beaches. Its a peaceful location close to great beaches, the site facilties were simple but always clean and tidy. If you want a quiet get away from it all, place to stay within reach of great scenery then look no further. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Just returned from Cefn Hedog after the Bank Holiday weekend. I can highly recommend it! The owners, Judy and John, are extremely hospitable and the site is situated in a wonderful area. Looking forward to visiting again in the near future.y
