What an excellent campsite, it is just as described, except the facilities are much better than much larger campsite. Wi Fi is so much better, it's as good as being at home and cheaper than larger campsites. The help from the owners is priceless, we had a puncture, we had problems with the gas in the van, the owner was more than helpful, he went and got materials to fix problems and his very practical abilities solved each situation. The views are what you want to wake up to each morning. We would have liked them to move their site with us through Spain. We will be back

My wife and I loved this site. We stay at many CL sites and this is one of the best equipped we've stayed at. The cold beer on arrival really set the scene for a great couple of weeks. Jeff and Irene are great, they'll give you space to get on with your life or be available to help where necessary. Jeff helped me get the car fixed when we had problems and accompanied me to the garage.
The shower and toilet block is simply the best we've seen for a CL site, very clean with fresh rugs everyday and the shower is better than any hotel. We always used our own facilities in the past, but used the facilities at this site due to the cleanliness and close proximity. There's a place to wash pots and pans and clothes on site and it's a secure site as well, always locked up.
They provided not one, but two satellite connections so we could watch and even record Sky programs, not that we watched much television with the fantastic weather. We were able to use the pool for a dip and due to the lack of light pollution, sitting outside at night watching the shooting stars is a great experience. The day time views are also excellent and we must have watched the sun go down every night for two weeks.
They know the local areas very well and recommended a local restaurant, only 1 KM away, which we used several times, plus it's really Spanish and relatively cheap. Other local amenities include everything you could want within 10 kms. The beach is only 30-40 mins away at Malaga and Marbella, both of which we hadn't seen before. We also ventured to Nerja which is a beautiful town and great day out.
The water point by the caravan meant we could hook-up a permanent water supply, if we hadn't had the mains device, Jeff had a system he was ready to loan to us, free of charge.
Value for money is unbelievable at €12 per night. Electricity is extra but you only pay what the site gets charged per unit and over two weeks with an aircon cost us less than €50.
Irene is a really good artist and painted a tile for us, only €10, it makes a great present. Jeff and Irene are both caring people who want you to have a great stay, and return of course.
We had a carefree two weeks, can recommend Finca De La Piedra and would definitely go back, that's the bottom line.

We had a lovely few days at Finca de la Piedra. Jeff and Irene are exceptional hosts and we fully recommend their site if you're looking for a nice, quiet retreat in the countryside.
Facilities are excellent and they are well placed as a base to explore the surrounding areas such as Malaga, Marbella, Fuengirola and the Sierra de la Nieves.
The surrounding landscape is beautiful and as they're surrounded by mountains the site is prone to a decent breeze which is a welcome relief in the hot summer months.

We came across this site on internet whilst looking for a smaller CL type site a bit away from the coast.
Its about 25 minutes from Malaga / Torremolinos. On arrival the road down to the site does look a bit off-putting as slightly rough but its fine to bring vehicles down. Good size pitches, running water nearby with hoses to fill up without moving van. Views from pitches are stunning over the countryside to the mountains.
There is one toilet / shower room, clean and warm - shower hot with good water pressure. Washing machine only €2 - bargain also a hand wash sink. Free Wifi on site and they will hook you up to satellite if you want British tv. Electric is charged on a meter use basis (we paid less than 90 cents per night).
The nearest village is about 25 minutes walk away. A small supermarket, bakery and fruit shop, and a few bars.
What makes the site is the total peace and quiet (adults only)and the brilliant owners Jeff and Irene who couldn't be better. They offered to go and pick us up a takeaway on our first night and a cup of coffee on arrival was a nice touch. Without being in your face they are incredibly good hosts - a bottle of Cava for Valentines day was another really lovely gesture.
If you want to get away from the big sites on the coast then this site is recommended. At €12 per night its truly a bargain for the closest to a CL we have found in Spain. We would use again for sure.

This is the friendliest campsite we have ever visited. Geoff and Irene who run it are incredibly helpful, whether you have technical problems with your motorhome or just want to know more about the area.
All the facilities were excellent and we had stunning views across the valley to the mountains with the most amazing sunsets. We really appreciated the heated shower room and the fact that it was kept spotless with clean towels every day.
The washing machine was only 2 euros, a snip compared to the price they charge on the coast. We were able to drive into Coin and park easily to do our shopping.
There was a reasonable restaurant within walking distance. We stayed a week then went off for a while and then returned and it was like coming home we were given such a nice welcome.
Couldn't recommend this site more.

We visited this site in November and stored our motorhome till January 2010. We found it to be a friendly and secure site The owners of this small camping site could not do enough to help us. Facilities spotless etc and tv connections. We have had no hesitation in recommending to our friends and will definitely go there again on our next visit to Spain

What a superb site, still as good as it was in 2005.
The owners Jeff and Irene can`t do enough for you.
Lovely and quiet site away from the busy, busy coast a refuge from Hurley burly of life on the Costas.
All facilities available including satelite reception, wifi and super shower and sanitation.

This site will not accept single persons.
Even retired older gentlemen (me) age 75 years.
Who caravans all over Spain, France, Italy, and never meeting this situation before. Other widowed or widows please note. This site is well placed away from the hustle and bustle of the Costa del Sol.
What a shame highly respectable single folk can not stay here.

Excellent site. Owners very friendly. We are here at the moment. Small 5 van site near to a typical spanish village. Peace and quiet, but if you want the coast it is about half an hour drive. Excellent facilities including WiFi and Sky dish. Electric hookups, water either near or on pitch. Toilet and shower room, washing machine. Bar restaurant about 1km

We had two months with Jeff and Irene in January of this year and are planning to return before too long. The facilities are immaculate. It's like having your own bathroom. The welcome couldn't be warmer and friendlier. Jeff even helped me put up my awning in the pouring rain. The location is ideal for visiting all the tourist 'hot spots' but out of the way to ensure that if you just want to savour the local life thats all on your doorstep as well. It's the only site we found in the Malaga, Marbella, Fuengirola area that we would go back to. The others were overcrowded and not in the same league.
