This has been my first time caravanning having hired a unit. I was able to choose the pitch where I wanted to stay, which meant I was able to reverse caravan in a place I felt comfortable. Toilets and shower area was so clean and also warm. Weather was not good, but that didn't stop us from enjoying our walks, visits to the town and trips down to Castlearchdale for flasks of coffee/tea. The owners were most helpful and friendly (I didn't know how to work the stove with it not being electric.). Anyhow thanks to Drumhoney for all their help and I do hope to be back again. Will recommend to my colleagues in work who do a lot of caravanning. Cheers

We arrived quite late at night at Drumhoney Caravan Park and it was practically pitch black so we couldn't really see much. We were able to get hooked up the the electricity easily (as this was our first weekend away in our first ever motorhome!) and we got okay TV signal and slept well. When we woke up in the morning we were pleasantly surprised by the stunning scenery surrounding the park and pitches. There was a lovely fishing pond and panoramic views of the green fields with little sheep and alpacas and cows and goats dotted all over them. After breakfast, we went for a cycle around their route that wound in and around the fields, small fishing lakes and the animal farm with was a great fun, so be sure to bring your bikes! You can also walk the route as well. Beware that the site can be a bit hilly at times, but it is a good challenge though. Later on that day we put our awning out and we had plenty of space and privacy. The park had a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We used the chemical waste disposal was easy to use and the staff were very helpful by lending us a hose to re-fill our fresh water tank. The games room had a lot of flies buzzing around and the machines seemed a little worn. The sanitary blocks were spotlessly clean. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place for families and people wanting a peaceful break to just get away from it all.

The site consists of an upper and a lower field, with the upper one being mainly statics, and the lower a mix of statics, tents and tourers. There are a number of touring pitches on the slope between the two. These have been built as terraces with a base of stone chippings so they are very well drained – ideal if you visit during stormy weather as we did. But make sure you have suitable pegs if you plan to pitch an awning.
After we got everything set up the owner offered to move us to a better pitch – we had been allocated a hard standing terrace on the hill between the upper and lower fields. She even offered to lend us extra pegs for hard ground if we needed any.
We booked this site as it was billed as being a family oriented site. In this respect it was a real disappointment due to the fact that the play park was basically unsafe, with corroded equipment and holes worn in the slide. We decided not to let our three year old anywhere near it in case he hurt himself. On the plus side there is a small children’s farm with alpacas, rabbits, sheep etc. This proved to be a real hit with our son but the attraction would definitely wear off quicker than a safe play park.
There were a good number of children there from the static caravans and they ran riot around the site. Whether they are there on a regular basis it is hard to tell but we found the constant yelling of swear words and the fact that they were running right through our pitch a real turn off for this site. To cap it all they tried to steal our awning tent pegs during a particularly stormy evening.
On the plus side, the camp staff patrolled the site on a golf buggy at 1030 to ensure the curfew was enforced and when one small boy went missing they swung into action to mount a search and located him very quickly.
Unlike most sites we visited in Ireland, the showers were free. They did require you to hold the button in constantly though so one handed showering is a must at this site (at least in the gents, this was not a feature in the ladies). The facilities were really spotless though and very modern. Very high standard indeed. There is also a games room for older children and a well equipped laundry and sinks for washing dishes.
Other than the play park and the rowdy children this site really was very good indeed.

Well I did say I would be back in Drumhoney but this year we have decided to get a caravan so went in caravan instead of tent. Had a great time, facilities getting better as they have the whole place tarmaced.
More animals, horse with wee foal, goats, guinea pigs, rabbits, budgies pigs and donkeys. Definitely recommend. Toilet block spotless and showers were free and water hot. They have also recommended eating places, we ate in one of the restaurants they recommended and definitely worth the £7.95 for two courses with big portions. Its called the Oaks and is also beside the golf range if you fancy a game of golf.
Not too far away from Enniskillen, Florence Court, Castlearchdale, Marble Arch Caves if you like horse riding, walking or cycling this is definitely a good place to go. Also you can rent out a rod and get a permit for fishing. Facilities can't fault them in anyway. If you need any help at all owners was always about to help you. A good site at a good price definitely we will be back!

As per the rest of the campers who have used this site I agree fully with there analysis, the site is spotless, plenty to do close by, no proper shop as such but 2 mins takes you to the nearest garage, staff are very friendly (especially mo) who takes her job very seriously.
However as I have my own business and need to be in constant contact with staff and customers I was disappointed when I could not get access to the wireless internet as stated on their website, (if I had known I would have brought my own means of access). When its wet outside its handy being able to catch up on emails and social networking sites to pass the time.
I will return to the site again but I will check in advance if the internet system is up and running and if not I will bring my own wireless dongle.
Thanks for a great week.

Great spotless site, man made lakes for a spot of fishing, a little path way around the site with animals / birds every few metres.
The facilities are clean with free hot showers, a small shop for kids really, no milk or bread or anything like that, but with a garage, chippy and restaurants just up the road, its not an issue.
The pitches although on a hill were well maintained, great views and if need one, you can go lift a picnic table to use outside your caravan.
Not many bad points to mention, the park area could do with a freshen up, that's about it really.
I'll be back there again no problem.

Just spent Easter here. The campsite was immaculate especially the toilet block which we could not fault even in poor weather. We were given a tarmac and stone site which was great and kept dirt to a minimum.
Position is great for day trips to Ulster American Folk Park, Marble Arch Caves and Waterworld at Bundoran. The site is also very close to Castle Archdale Forest Park. We will be back.

Just back after a week stay at Drumhoney caravan park really enjoyed ourselves and saw very little rain over the week. Great place to stay! My daughter really enjoyed it. The animal farm is brill with rabbits donkeys lamas highland cattle pigs hens you can also hire out boats bikes go karts. Facilities good too, there is a campers kitchen for doing your dishes washing machines and tumble dryers. Definitely recommend! Hubby enjoyed it too he loves clay pigeon shootin and was able to partake in this sport. Thanks goes to Ivan, Mo and all those who keep an eye on the place. Children had to be in bed for 10.30 which I thought was a great idea because it meant children were able to unwind after an exciting day. Met Mo nearly every mornin always cleanin when I went into the bathroom. Shop only a few miles up the road and also chippy and golf range there. I would give the place 10 out of 10 and will definitely be back next year with our 8 man tent!

Just Returned from 10days on this Site. Really enjoyed the site and as previous review has mentioned very clean and tidy. Lots of activities and animals to look at and listen to, especially the Highland Cows which are very noisy but funny. Showers are free although not very hot I would say just about warm.
The site is close to a small shop at the local Petrol Station and only 3 miles from Kesh.
My only complaint is the width of the pitches, as Fermanagh is a very wet county with lots of rain and pitches are just about wide enough. I think they are 8ft of concrete and the rest is very mucky grass, your caravan can get very dirty, we had to put down some cardboard so that the floors would be protected. Our Caravan is 7ft6 so that only left us with 6in of concrete. Next time I would bring a ground sheet maybe to put on the grass, noticed one or two others doing this. The other issue is for those who like to hook up to the water directly it is very difficult on this site unless you have a long length of hose. Will return to this site as overall probably one of the best sites I have stayed on.

We visited the site for the Mayday weekend, and were very impressed. The owner has done a huge amount of work to the site in recent years, so if you have not been in a while, check it out again.
The facilities were so fresh clean and new, they were good enough for a 5 star hotel, never mind a caravan park. The staff were friendly and helpful, with Ivan taking lots of guests around the site on his golf cart. There is bike and gokart hire, horse riding, stables, rabbits, donkeys, llamas, a fishing lake, and an all weather pitch is being built!
The site is about 5 mins drive from castle Archdale forest park, and Lisnarick village. 10 mins takes you to the marina to launch into Lough Erne, or to Kesh Village for supermarkets. 20 mins takes you to Enniskillen.
The only drawbacks to the site is that it is quite hilly, and there is only a sweet shop on site, no bread or milk or papers.
All in all probably the friendliest and cleanest site we have been on, this is what real caravanning is all about! Highly recommended!
