What a fabulous site! Easy to access off the main road, with stunning views of surrounding mountains. Red kites and birds of prey can be seen flying over the site and there's gorgeous sunsets.
The pitches are REALLY spacious and there's loads to do in the vicinity of the site. All the services are well kept, there's plenty of hot water in the free showers and the toilets are very clean. Highly recommend this site to anyone and will definitely be coming back.

We spent the Spring Bank Holiday here. The pitches are a really good size and the site is neat and tidy with well mown grass.
The facilities are in Portable cabins but were very clean in spite of the wet weather. Showers were hot, free and not the push button type! Only one each for ladies and gents but never had to queue as this is a small site - there were only nine units on while we were there.
This is a very quiet site with lovely views - probably more suited to adults as no play area and ball games are not allowed.
We would definitely use this site again.

A lovely site with lovely views and very spacious electrical hook up pitches. Well maintained site and friendly owners who are only glade to help when we had problems getting the electric. Recommend and I will be revisiting again. A few minutes from a little village and about a ten minute drive into Newtown where their is a large Tescos and a Lidl and many places to eat and drink

We stopped here in June as part of a charity walk, pitches are very spacious and owner is very friendly.
The shower and toilets are very basic (porter cabin) but provide constant hot water and are very clean. There is a shop which has all the basics and has an honestly box but amenities at Caersws and Newtown (morrisons!) are very close by.
Stunning location (sunsets are gorgeous) and close to many walks ideal for backpackers and the outdoors types!

Lovely spot with great views. Huge pitches and lots of open space with good access, always a bonus with a twin axle outfit. We had an awning up and two cars in our pitch and there was still plenty of space left.
Toilets and showers in portacabins were clean and more than adequate. Loved the honesty box shop (shed in the corner of the field), it is so typical of the trust in the area (we used to live not far away.
Basic, as in no other facilities, but just what we wanted as we never use clubs etc on other sites. Would definitely use again if in the area.

This site has great views of the hills. We also saw a Red Kite circling above the campsite, which was very impressive. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The facilities were very clean, no queues and no charge for the showers.
The only drawback was the poor pedestrian access to the village. There is no pavement and you take your life in your hands walking back from the village in the dark, even with a torch. I would recommend this campsite. It was lovely and quiet, even in the middle of summer.

There was 6 of us went to this site and we had a great time. There was only 2 showers one male and one female (womens bigger than the mens)but they are free and constant hot water, the toilets are basic but clean, the pitches are huge so plenty of room to spread out
The owner is very friendly and keen to give advice on the surrounding area which I have to say is stunning. The shop is basic (uses a honesty box) but you are only 10 mins from Newtown which has everything you could want.
There are lots of things to do in the area good walks, lots of children's activities all in a short driving distance.
The thing I found interesting is that this site has only been going for 4 years so he has planning permission to improve everything, the site was set up to fund their real passion of looking after rescue horses.
