Fantastic Site, had all the facilities that one could want, Plenty of level Pitches with Electric Hookup. We Were Blessed with good weather during the day, which Resulted in Frost on the tent in the morning, but we can't blame the site for that :-)
Originally intended as a 1 Night stop on the way to Spain from Cherbourg, however we decided to stay an Extra night, as the area around was lovely and had plenty to do, St Malo, Mt Saint Michel amongst others. The Only downside is that the On Site Bar/Restaurant was closed from 6pm. Saying that there was a Bar open in the village next to the Boulangerie/ Patisserie, which was only minutes walk away. The Bar I would say as Quirky and Dated, but the Staff were very friendly, (all 3 of them) despite myself and my wife being the only customers.
The site has plenty (in my opinion) for children to entertain themselves, but as I don't have children I do not know exactly what Plenty is.
Definitely return again. In Fact we did, on our Return from Spain (which was not on the plans originally).
Particularly impressed that they Phoned me to advise that my reservation was fine (I was communicating by email, and explained that as I would now be on the road I would have intermittent internet access)
Overall, Very Safe, Clean and friendly site, with helpful Staff. We Paid € 13.40 a night for 2 People Plus Electric Hookup with an ACSI Card.

Lovely site. The reception staff were helpful and spoke good English. Our pitch was level and had space to spare with our awning and van set up. There was a restaurant which we used on the first night after a long(and traffic heavy) run from Calais. Prices and choices were reasonable, and the food of good standard. Toilets/ showers unisex and always clean. Kids enjoyed new exercise machines near play area and little one liked the trampoline, although this was sometimes locked when the one child at time rule broken! Swimming pool very cold, but this could be because weather grey so no sun to warm it up. Good for a few nights - Mont S M and St Malo good trips out. Also went to Alligator Bay nearby, which kids enjoyed.

We arrived after a six-hour drive across country and were tired and hot. We hadn't booked, we had tried to email and call but to no avail. We expected it may be full so were surprised when told we could camp for the night. We were then charged almost 40 Euros for one night. So tired, we handed the money over and drove to the place where the woman told us to pitch - the communal area, with 'plenty of room'. We could hardly fit our tent on it. We were right up next to our neighbours, on an open area, with tents to the front of us as well
Music played well after the 1030 quiet time
The playgrounds were right next to the communal area they were squeezing campers into. Dogs were off leads, and we had no privacy at all.
The toilets were basic, the showers were okay, but everything was just a bit grubby.

Handy site for visiting Mont St Michael and St. Malo. Well organized with spotless loos and showers, multi lingual reception and swimming pool and facilities for the kids. We were there as a couple in August and every pitch and static was full - so best to pre book in season. The pitches are tight for large rigs but we were good for a couple of nights. Recommended.

Nice site, good location just outside a very small village with a short walk to the Boulangarie in the village. Good pool although I think it was a bit cold for me so I couldn't be tempted, no glass cover to enclose it like at some sites. Even the kids came out shivering.Eventually.
Pitches are somewhat tight, (100m2?) for a UK 7m caravan although in our experience it was the same at other sites. The french generally seem to have much smaller caravans. Low hedge in between plots.
Electrics no problem. Showers newish and good.
Good for the small kids as it has a big play area a short way from the caravans and has various animals donkeys, goats etc. Kids loved it!.
Some decent bike riding on several small lanes around the site, nice ride in the country.
Mont St Michel can be seen in the distance e few miles away. Not directly on the sea side.
Free Wifi around the reception so you can just about sit by the pool and 'surf'.

We stayed here and the experience was wonderful. Nice pitch and nice clean loo's, there's even a loo outside in the open!. Area was nice too, with plenty of restaurant's serving wonderful seafood. Staff was very polite. I would come back again. The walk into town was a good reasonable length and the local monts michelle island is worth visiting. The camp site is nice and green with hedges defining your pitch. There is also a supermarket where you can get grocery's and touristy staff too. Lastly a wonderful site.

What a wonderful little campsite. Only stayed 1 night during short tour of Normandy, but wished we could have stayed longer! Really nice and helpful staff. Showers clean (and a baby bathing room which was a necessity when travelling with an 8month old). Would definitely use if passing through this area again.

Friendly little site very close to Mont St Michel. As a stopover for a few nights its great. The pitches are a little on the tight side and a few of them might make you get the levelling blocks out but that was no real problem. The toilet blocks are very clean and although we were there in high season and the site was full we had no problems with showers etc. although you can get a bit of a pong from the chemical toilet disposal point which we were right next to. On Friday a group of local producers bring their wares for sale and set up a little market near reception. The seafood lady was great. I would highly recommend this site as a 2/3 day stopover as its an easy drive down from the Normandy ports. It took me 2.5 hours towing the caravan from Le Havre.

Our family stayed here for 3 nights in August. Despite the site being full it still felt very relaxed and amenities were not too stretched. The swimming pool is very warm and pleasant, childrens play area and farm animals made our stay here really enjoyable. The staff were friendly and helpful (lending us a french ehu) and spoke English if required! The site has a bar and restaurant which were really nice and not expensive. Our pitch was fairly small, but hedge surrounding it made sure we didn't feel too squashed up. Handy for visiting Mont St Michel and lovely peaceful french countryside. The other visitors were all nationalities - although many Irish and Dutch campers (close to the ports). Good value for money at about £15 per night (family for four and electric).

E site is easy to find on the D43just outside Courtils. We were greeted by big smiles which wasjust what we needed after 3 days of solid rain. Staff were alwaysvery willing to help and speak reasonable English. Toilet/showers/laundryAll washing and toilet areas were cleanand tidy but, given the number of pitches, not numerous enough. Moreshowers are being built and should be ready later in the season (Aug07). Use of washing machine and dryer available at 2euro each. Shop.Basics only and as one would expect theprices are on the high-ish side. Fresh baguettes, croissants andpastries can be ordered for the following day. Nearest Supermarkets are in Pontorson or Avranches 15min by car.
Pitches.Level, stone free, shady pitches mostbordered by 3-4ft bushes. Many have overhanging branches from horsechestnuts trees so beware of falling conkers! All have access toelectric, but you will need a long cable on some of the pitches. Play area. There is a rather tired playground atthe bottom of the site which needs updating. There is also a smallanimals “farm” which consisted of Pygmy goats, cow, chickens, 2donkeys and a cow enclosed by an electric fence. The animals may havelearnt not to touch the fence but toddlers may get a bit of a shockif they're too inquisitive. PoolThe heated outdoor pool is great tocool off in and for children to have a splash around but not for aserious swim. Surrounding area.We used the site for exploring the westof Normandy/East of Brittany by car. Theimmediate area doesn't offer much, the only village within walkingdistance was Courtils which offered the usual B&B (Bar andBoulangerie). General comments.I really liked this site but my wifefound it too remote and was concerned about the number of showersalthough we never had to queue. As a one or two night stay tobreak up a journey or visit Mont St Michel I would recommended it.
