 Another jewel in the CC club CL crown
Opened for the first time last season, situated on small working farm which used to be Bennetts dairy.
The site itself is behind the Manor Farm pub in Worcester. The pub is your typical family pub doing meals. Very child orientated with a childrens area and ball pool.
The site itself, is a beautifull little glade surrounded by trees next to a lake(fenced).
Not quite sure how to describe the site itself. It is hardstanding, but you wouldn't know to look as it is covered in grass, you will need rock pegs for awnings etc.
Facilities comprise of electric hookup, chemical waste, toilets and showers. The toilet block is fairly basic, but as CL's go it is very good. There is a gents, ladies, and mother & baby room in the middle which houses the shower.
This is an ideal stopover for both anglers and shoppers
Sadly the lake has been closed for fishing due to an ongoing weed problem, but Chris will supply you with a complimentary membership ticket for the local angling club which has a lovely carp fishery in Martley approx 20 mins drive away, If you fancy a bit of river fishing he will also allow you to fish the river which is just across the field.
There are a few local takeaways in St John's which will deliver to the campsite.
For the children, there is a little farm area with horses, ducks, swans, geese, chickens, and a peacock. Great fun for the little ones as you can feed them and there are regular hatchings of geese, swans, and ducks.
Just a few minutes from junction 7 of the M5, ideal spot for a quiet weekend fishing/shopping or a stop over to break your journey up.
In short this is a fantastic little site, and cost £9.00 per night inc electric
