 Stayed here for 4 nights. The site is based by a golf course, we had two very enjoyable nights in their club house when a bbq and entertainment were put on.
This is predominantly a caravan site which also takes tents. Our pitch was very well protected, level and spacious. The showers and toilets are OK but the washing up facilities could do with improving.
This site is well located for getting into York via the park and ride facility at the near by designer outlet but is a drive to the local shop and pub. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, we'll definitely go back there when visiting York again.

What a great site everything a caravanner or camper could want. Our friends told us about this site and we are regular visitors, fresh air plenty of walks through the woods and if your game is golf then you've struck gold with a 1st class course with the 19th hole with restaurant, and what's good also no arcades so the children have to play real games.
York City is on your doorstep and just 3 miles away an outlet centre with park & ride to York, it's a must and the owners and son always make you feel welcome.
