The greeting at this site could be more friendly and less business like. The majority of pitches on this site, although large, consist of mud and dust rather than grass and are separated by hedges. It is such a pity that many of the hedges have suffered damage due to people having to pass through them in order to plug in electricity cables or to reach the water taps. The shop, although small provided basic essentials only, but there is a large shopping mall a short drive away.
The sanitary block is modern and clean the only problem being you need to remember to take your own toilet roll and soap to wash your hands.
The restaurant has a limited menu and we found the meals to be quite small portions in relation to the price paid.
Although we did not use the swimming pool it appeared to be clean and maintained and well used. If you do intend to take a dip in the pool men will need to wear swimming trunks rather than swimming shorts (we were strongly advised about this during the booking in procedure.
This site is ideal as a stop over or for those wishing to visit Futuroscope.

As with most visitors to this site. The main attraction has to be Futuroscope. We've been twice, and it is well worth a full day. Better than Disney says my daughter!
A full day at Futuroscope implies a two night stop. If you are a teacher, apply on line and you can get free entry to Futuroscope for two people!
The site itself is perched on a hilltop, views of Futuroscope in the distance. It's functional rather than pretty, but facilities are clean.
The restaurant won't win any Michelin stars, think more of Burger King.
But, use it for what Futuroscope provides, and it's a good sleep over!

We stayed only 1 night but were quite grateful it was only the one. The site did not have a friendly ' feel' at all. The owners really could not be bothered and were not very helpful when our hookup was nearly 50 metres away. Eventually they found us an extension lead which took some coaxing to work and provided reverse polarity supply!
An expensive site and one not deserving of its 4* rating in our view. Pool small but OK. Toilets not the cleanest and paper was not provided at all. Small shop that stocked hardly anything, and a little takeaway snack bar that sold sausage or chicken nuggets and chips.
The site is very close to the Futurscope and most people stay here just to visit this.
We found this the most unappealing site we visited in our 3 week holiday covering 6 sites. An english family we met who had also arrived the same day and were booked for 4 nights commented that they didn't know if they could stay there for that long!
