 This is an excellent site all round. It is located right near the beach and just a minutes walk from the Utah Beach memorials and museum. It is within easy access of other interesting places such as Bayeux and Arromanches, which are both well worth a visit. We used this as an overnight stop before the Cherbourg but could easily have stayed longer.
The site has superb facilities: the showers and toilets are immaculate and plentiful. We were in an extension field so we were a little further away from them than we could have been, but at 17 Euros a night, we weren't complaining, and there were Portacabin toilets for this field if required. The bar was reasonably priced and the site offered good takeaways. We went to the adjoining restaurant and the food was outstanding - main courses only 6 euros and delicious. Also on site was and very well stocked shop, a pool (a bit crowded) an avery and mini golf.
Overall, an outstanding, highly recommended site.
