 One night in July
The campsite is in as near as can be the Loire Valley, a magnet for Chateau freaks and wine lovers. It's an easy run from Calais (even if like us you don't do Peage)
The site is spacious, in a wooded enclosure, with a central pizza/bar/swimming pool complex. Pedal fourwheelers seem to be the sites speciality.
One night isn't long to come to a full opinion, so that's the caveat!
Everything looked neat and tidy and well-maintained. The staff (especially the pizza bar lass with whom we talked for ages) all helpful and fluent in English - we manfully insisted on speaking French however!
The site has a number of statics, a small play area, and plenty of room for tenters. Our pitch was presented in good condition with power, water and waste.
