Amazing site, that just gets better - our 7th visit this year. Mr and Mrs Chevalier are superb hosts and take a real pride in their campsite.
Highly recommended is the wellness centre added last year, for those aged 16+ it has a gym, Turkish and Swedish sauna, whirlpool and fabulous out door pool with various massage jets and bubble beds. You can also book a massage (highly recommended).
For the more family orientated there are 2 other superb pools (and a whirlpool) all of which are maintained to a high standard.
The whole campsite nestles in a beautiful wooded valley so when your swimming in the pool you see gentle rolling wooded hills.
In addition one can use one of the canoes on the little lake or play tennis, mini golf and boules.
Overlooking the pool complex is the bar with family evening entertainment in high season. Behind the bar is a well stocked shop (fresh bread and pastries every morning).
If your into your French food the auberge on the campsite, is highly recommended - the set menus are great value and delicious and its in a lovely location.
Day trip/excursions options/local walking routes are innumerable. The ardeche river and in particular Pont D'Arch is a great day trip. The waterfall ray pic, also highly recommended as is Madeline cave.

Superb site in a beautiful location. This was our fourth visit and will be booking again for 2009 by request of our children.
The site is about 3km from Largentierre and is a great village for a stroll, we especially enjoy the evening market - hair braids & henna tattoos for the children! Not far is Balazuc, Labeaume and loads of other pretty villages.
The Ardeche (the river) can be busy for canoeing and shallow in places in high summer. Head up the 'La Baume' river for some really great places to go swimming and plunging in rock pools, well away from the busy areas of the Ardeche.
The whole area is a bit of a geology theme park of rock formations, caves etc and head north from the Campsite you will even see larva flow rock formations and craters.
Highly recommend the campsite and area. Very helpful and friendly owners. Site, toilets and swimming pool well maintained and clean. Request a pitch in the main camping area away from the road.

Very nice site, situated in lovely countryside, the owners have dammed part of the river to create a small lake with free canoes and life jackets for the kids to muck around in.
The swimming pool is good, but there are no slides.
The restaurant is very good, but you must book, it is situated in a fabulous old building with a large terrace, very picturesque, I recommend the frogs legs.
They also do pizzas and take aways.
There is a large bar area and terrace with a stage, where they hold the usual low key entertainment, noise stops at 12PM and we had no trouble sleeping.
Toilets and showers were all good and clean with hot water always on tap, the pitches were of ample size and there was the usual mixture of key camp, static and tourers.
The surrounding area is fantastic especially if you like outdoor sports, climbing, canyoning, canoeing, tree climbing etc, the scenery can be absolutely breath taking.
There are lots of nice villages to visit in the area and Largentiere is very nice and has a market a couple of days a week and one evening.
This site is close enough to the Ardeche without having the horrendous traffic problems you get at the height of the season in that area.
Highly recommend this site, and finally the owners come around on your final night with a bottle of plonk from the vinyard on site!
