Excellent site agree with previous reviews.
Clearly sign posted from the N10.
Warm welcome on arrival.
WIFI was free and available near to the office.
Well worth more than a stop over.
ACSI card. 11 euro per night.
Pitches are spacious and shaded. Only problem with some was acorns dropping on the roof of the caravan, so pick a pitch where that'll not happen!
Facilities were very clean and fully enclosed.
We did not use the cafe but it looked very clean and prices reasonable.
Lovely walk down by the river. Possible to walk into town which is worth a visit. Good shops and excellent bakery.

This is a gem of a site which is a good stopover, or even stopping place.
WARNING if you are using Archies POI then select 'Municipal Bois de Chevre' not the Camping Bois de Chievre, which does not exist and leaves you in a very narrow road amongst cornfields.
The site is great in that the you are given a radio control bleeper for raising the barrier, so you don't get a hernia trying to swipe from a RH drive car.
The main toilet block is a bit like the tardis but immaculately clean and warm and has musak. However the water temperature was low when we were there, discouraging the taking of showers.
Adjoining the site is the municipal indoor swimming pool, which is free to campers. There is no wifi but there is a computer available for campers' use at no cost.
The meals provided are enormous and very cheap, we shared one portion.
For shopping go to St Denis-les-ponts where there is a ginormous LeClerc complex with cheap petrol.
Overall a good, friendly, clean and cheap site

We love this site and have visited many times. We have a motorhome and found the private pitches great. They are very spacious.
There are some pitches on a slope but many are flat. The site is really good value for money. The toilet block is very intriguing like the tardis. Clean with plenty of loos and showers. Local radio is playing which makes it very home from home.
The owners are really friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the take-away frites from the small restaurant on site.

Easy to find and use as a stop over en route further south or to enjoy the local area. Great site with all of the amenities you need - toilets, showers, on site snack bar/restaurant. A walk through the site will take you to the banks of The Loire and the town isn't that far to walk either - better by bike. Bonneval is a beautiful typically French town with bars and restaurants and plenty of shops with weekly market of typical produce - local cheeses, wines, vegetables, meats etc. Nearby there is Chateaudun which is a large town boasting excellent shopping and wining/dining facilities plus lots more. We've stayed there several times and have always been pleased.

We stopped at this site as an overnight stop and what a great find. It has 130 pitches which all had electrical hookups and are all hedged off although most have a slight incline but all were very well maintained. The reception we received upon arrival was warm and welcoming and the entrance to the site is barrier controlled which is manned 24 hours per day. The local town indoor swimming pool is next door to the site and for a 15 euro deposit to reception you get a tag which means it is free of charge to campers. There is also a lake withing walking distance which offers fishing. It has a large well equipped children's play area, television room and has a small bar area with outside seating and served a few dishes of hot food. Bread could be ordered the day before for collection at 08:00 hrs. It had 1 main modern toilet / shower block which contained 2 toilets and 5 showers. There were 2 smaller toilet blocks which were rather basic but served the purpose. The site is right on the outskirts of Bonneval but well signposted and easy to find and was very very quiet at night. There is a "Champion" supermarket no more than 10 mins drive away. Overall this was a good site and well worth a visit.
