We stayed during a very wet week in August having spent a weekend here a month or so before. The toilet and shower facilities are new and were kept spotless the entire time we were there. Although there is only 1 toilet and 1 shower this was adequate as there is only room for 5 units. The children's play area is well maintained and the huge playing field allowed our 2 children to wear themselves out.
The gated field meant that we could set up and relax while the children played knowing that there was no traffic driving around the site.
Both our children loved playing with the owners dogs, who were all friendly and approachable (the children refer to the site as the sheepdog site). I never found any dog mess on the site.
Nearby in Gaerwen is a store selling most items which could be needed while away.
A short distance from the sight is a secluded lake which had wild ponies wandering through the trees, Although the lake is fenced off there are two hides allowing views of the wildlife.
My one minor critics of the site is that the hook ups are directly below a hedge of trees which during our stay dropped a lot of leaves onto the awning.
A fantastic site which we will be returning to many times.

This is a very tidy site with well manicured grass areas and a lamppost and a picnic table at every pitch. The toilet and shower rooms are brand new although the washbasin is far too small to do anything other than wash hands and the shower costs a pound for a very small amount of time, hardly enough time to get a proper shower in fact. The coin slot is very high up on the wall too and I couldn't put a coin in without standing on the bench which I didn't think was very safe.
We did see the owners dogs several times but I don't think they were actually exercised on the site although they accompanied the owner if he was cutting the grass etc. They were very friendly dogs and well behaved too being farm dogs and there was no sign of any dog mess as far as we could see.
There is one reason we wont be returning however. This site is now an approved Caravan Club Certificated location. We have been Caravan Club members for approx. 12 years and often use their CL. S. Tyddyn Pwrpas actually feels like a commercially run site not a CL where the owners are often CC members themselves and are actualy interested in the club and its members.

The facilities are all very new, including toilet, shower (needs £1 coins to operate), hook ups etc. The toilet and shower rooms have underfloor heating, however the sink is far too small and lighting too poor for shaving/make up etc.
There is a really good children's play area in the middle of the site and the site is part of a transport museum with cafe. The surrounding area is wonderful with Newborough Warren and the stunning Llanddwyn beach a short drive away. If you run out of gas (as we did- oops!) take a right out of the campsite and right at the t junction to Gaerwen where there is a well stocked garage shop!
My main criticism and the point that will stop us returning is the owners dogs. They were allowed to play on the site and were left unattended in the gated camping field whilst we were packing up which lead to me having the fright of my life whilst emptying the grey water and looking up to find a dog running at me and also the inevitable dog mess, all over the site including the children's play area and around the drinking water point- yuck.
