A nice site with lots of space and in a good location to explore the New Forest, Bournemouth, Poole and surrounding areas. It is near a road and the airport but this did not cause any problems and certainly not at night. The facilities were kept very clean and were more than adequate. A freezer was provided on site and it came in very handy. The owners were very friendly and we would have no hesitation in returning again. The only negative was, having to put coins in a meter for the shower.

We have just returned from 5 nights at fillybrook farm, we were sad to leave after a wonderful break
Very peaceful, well maintained site, lady very helpful and friendly and we will go back next year. The site is well located for local excursions into Poole and Bournmouth.
The site is dog friendly and our spaniels were made to feel very welcome. It is a small site and if you are looking for peace and quiet this is the place to go. We loved it thank you.

This was my first time in tent but found it very good. I have done lots of caravanning before so have used lot of sites in the past.
This site was so nice I plan to go back next year. I can be fussy about where I stay, so you can say this is a good site to go to.
The owner is a nice lady.
Toilets are clean you get lots time to have a shower for the set timer that you pay for.
It was nice to pull up at site and be met with nice smile from the lady that runs the site.
As I have said hope go back again.

Well what can I say about this site! Great location for plane spotters ( right on Bournemouth international airport) We arrived at this site for a week hol, we were greeted at the barrier and shown to our pitch. Site it self is pleasant, but we were informed that my 6 year old daughter was not allowed to do anything kids on a camp site like to do, and she is the only child here, and it was half term! Fortunately we were only using this site as a base, as we had friends locally and knew we would be out and about most days!
There are two bathrooms, I only used the toilet once in the womens (as my use my own in the van), this appeared to be clean and smelt pleasant but I believe you need 60p for showers for 6mins of water. The mens bathroom did not have any hot water in the hand basins which annoyed my husband as that's not very hygienic after using the toilet!
The wash up facility also didn't have hot water! There was a freezer for everyone to use which was useful.
This site is in a great location for touring around the south coast and if you don't have kids is a gem. The noise from the airport can be noisy when a big plane takes off and you can feel the ground shake but I never heard any through the night, they started taking off around 6ish. It is quite close to the A338 which is a fast road noise can be heard when sat outside.
The site is on Matchums lane and don't follow sat nav as it takes you past the site, its also quite a tight turn into and out of the gate, I'm not an experienced tower but they did watch me out of the site on departure. There is nothing pub wise within walking distance.
Security is very good the gate is opened by a remote key which you pay £10 deposit for and get it back when you hand it back in there is also cctv on the gate.
This site has lots of pros as its flat, reasonably priced, quiet, within easy reach of beaches etc. I don't like holiday parks or places with massive play grounds for kids, but do enjoy watching my child playing with other children and making games up and enjoying the out doors so they are not playing on DS or watching tv, isn't that what caravanning/camping is all about??

On the whole we found the site as adequate. The showers (one male, one female) are on a meter, in a room that has a timed light switch. We found that the lights can go out before the shower finishes.
Having no hot water at the single wash up sink, or at the hand sinks in the toilets was a disappointment for us.
The site is on a road that has a 40MPH speed limit, although during the quite hours it often seemed as if cars were doing much more, and managed to keep us awake.
Although not about the site, please be aware that the road leading to the site from both directions is quite bumpy for about two miles.
All in all, the site looks good, it is in nice surrounds, but the facilities are just adequate.

We(2 adults and 2 children and a baby) have just returned a 5 night stay at Fillybrook Farm and I can not say a bad word about this site.
The facilities are basic but adequate and clean, the site owner was there on hand through out our stay and made us feel very welcome.
After doing the all singing all dancing larger campsites this campsite was by far the best.
We would highly recommend this site and we will be returning in the near future.

This site is adequate for those wanting basic amenities only and on the whole we enjoyed our stay. When we visited in July it was very quiet and we didn't personally find the noise from the airport too much bother. It is very well placed for visiting the surrounding area.
Everything is adequate, toilets are clean but could be cleaner, so-on and so-forth, which is fine, average value for money.
Unfortunately, unlike a previous reviewer, we found the owners a little awkward and wouldn't rate their hospitality. We didn't feel overly welcome and for that reason won't be returning but we hope to return to the area at some point. We hope others have a good experience all the same!

Right next to the end of runway 26 at Bournemouth airport. Having visited the weekend of the first Bournemouth air show we were treated to the reds at tree top height. First class privately run site with excellent facilities, good toilets showers and a lovely flat site where you can actually get tent pegs into the ground. Trust me this site is a gem and well be back again. Very friendly owner well worth a visit
