 This site had a wonderful relaxed feel. We only stayed one night on our way to south of France but could have stayed longer. Had lovely pitch right in front of chateau which we were able to choose for ourselves. Staff all very friendly and helpful. Pool very pleasant though no flumes etc. Lots of space on each pitch. Loos etc clean with plenty of hot water for showers. Would stay again.

Stayed here with friends in summer 2007 for a week.
The site is set on the outside of the quiet, rural village of Ingrandes & as such is really peaceful.
The staff were hard working, friendly & helpful.
The pitches are well defined & large. We fitted our folding camper with full awning, a large day tent & our car & didn't feel claustrophobic. EHU required two pin plugs.
The toilets & dish washing areas nearest to our pitch were oldish, but well kept. There were newer ones on another field.
The pool was reputedly heated, but felt a bit nippy. The play area wasn't great but there was golf/croquet etc & lots of room for children to play games as well as an indoor/TV area in a renovated barn if it rained. The kids were never bored.
The shop was fine & you could order fresh bread/croissants etc the day before as well as hot food which is cooked on the premises. We did most of our shopping at the big E.Leclerc or Auchan in Chatellerault.
There was a good wee pub/restaurant just outside the gates of the site.
We visted the grottos at Doue which were interesting, Saumur which left us underwhelmed & Futuroscope which was great.
Definitely recommend this site & would visit again.
