We have visited the site many times before it is a very beautiful and peaceful place it has some play equipment and it ha a farm shop in which you can bye

Feed to feed the chickens if you wish to the site also has hook ups if you need electric and I has a very well cleaned and managed shower room and toilets. But also has a block with washing up facilities and fridges and freezers for your use it has waste disposal points and also has places to get fresh water. A wonderful relaxing and beautiful place.

Just got back from a long weekend to this site. I believe the owner has taken on board comments from previous reviews. The toilets/showers I found very clean. The lady, although appearing shy, will talk and joke should you engage with her. This site is a little beauty, offering the use of a fridge and freezer. My first attempt at camping and I will be revisiting this site. Small but beautiful, and the fresh eggs a nice touch.

We stayed at this site for one night early July. On arrival there was no-one around, but this wasn't a problem as we waited and someone showed up! We were shown onto the large field with few bits of kiddy play equipment.

There were about 5 other pitches occupied, but still plenty of room for us. There was a small toilet and shower block on the site, with a new washing area with a fridge and freezer. Facilities are basic at this site - but make no mistake, they are clean and tidy and sufficient for our needs (family of 8).

It's a lovely setting, and the children just blatted about the field for the day before collapsing! We collected eggs, cooked them the next day. We've already booked in again - the owner was very friendly, and the place was great.

On arrival there was not a soul about, so we pitched up and hoped for the best. Lady came over later in the evening and handed over a leaflet regarding prices. Not the friendliest manner, but business like I suppose. Please note the price is now £10 a unit, not £7 as advertised, but still cheap.

Basic amenities. Toilets not the cleanest, but that was down to people not bothering to clean up themselves, not the fault of the owner!

Had the field to ourselves on Sunday afternoon. Bliss.

Will go again for a short break.

We agree with the earlier post- bit tricky to spot the site on the fast road. The road is also a bit noisy, all day and night and the area was quite popular with motorbikes.

The site is a very large field and we shared it with two other campers. Loads of space and lovely countryside views. Our daughter loved the small children's area, meeting new friends, patting and feeding the horse, collecting eggs and feeding chicken corn. What she didn't like was coming home!

Very peaceful and owners very friendly. Washing up shed had plenty of hot water and fridge and freezer to use. Only one sink.

Toilets were clean, not glamorous. One sink, not private so a bit tricky to wash etc. The two showers were in the same room- good if you wanted to shower as a family. Again, clean and constant hot water. A good walk from the pitch though!

Would say confirm price before arrival-price on website less than what we were charged.

Went to Burnham- lovely fish and chips and nice stroll along the river.

We enjoyed the pitch with the lovely views but we do have a few remarks. Foreigners as we are, we missed the very small sign on the road that indicated the entrance of the site. The speed on that road is rather high and turning is difficult, so a signpost would be a good idea.

Although we made a reservation, there was nobody at home. Luckily there was an acquaintance who guided us through the barrier to the field behind the farm. Maybe a note that you can find a place on your own in case of absence would be an idea.

Unfortunately, we found the lady, later on, not very friendly. The prices for a caravan pitch 10 pound, electricity 2 pound and a clean but old and cracky toilet block, a bit disappointing after the Caravan Club sites.

These sites do give in low season an excellent and better price/value relation and we can't get used to carpet in toilet blocks!

This was our first camping trip and it did not disappoint. Jackie and her family are very welcoming and helpful. Kids can sit / pat the ponies at 9am, at 10am collect fresh eggs from the hens.
You could be anywhere here as the views are lovely. Burnham village where boats are is well worth a visit. Lovely pub up the road. Play area for the kids. 2 showers, and 2 toilets very clean.
We brought our dogs with us, and just a warning one of the fields backs onto another where they were doing clay pigeon shooting! Our lively dalmatian bolted straight over there! Will definitely go back again, small and friendly camp site.

What a gem! We have already booked in for a fortnight and I may well take the girls again in the week during the holidays. It is a lovely lovely site. Very quiet. Despite a decent field they only allow 7 pitches which means it is never crowded and the showers and toilets etc are just fine. There are 2 toilets and 2 showers though the showers are in the same room with a lock. It was all very clean, with soap, loo roll and hand towels provided. For £7 a night in a beautiful setting, its brilliant.

They had just finished the washing up area yesterday. - A sink and tap outside.

The playground was a hit with the girls 2 and 4) and they just kept asking if they could go and make friends with the other children. (It consists of a swing, see saw, slides and climbing frame - bought from shops and boot sales not big purpose built ones.)

Because the site is small you can see them all the time and our eldest loved being able to go up to the loo herself and also went to fetch water. Collecting eggs was popular £1 half dozen as was stroking the ponies on their way in and out the stables. There's a great farm shop towards Burnham where we got bbq meat and we spent 2 days crabbing on the pontoon at Burnham on Crouch. Totally idyllic.

We went here for a weekend and absolutely loved it. Its a small site on a farm, views were outstanding, the owner was very helpful and let the children collect eggs from the hens and fed the chickens and they held baby chicks that were only born the day before. Looking forward to going back. The only downside was only 2 toilets and 2 showers but it didn't cause us a problem.

Lovely small site, with great views. Only cost £7 a night. Very friendly owner, nothing was too much trouble; our children got to collect their own free-range eggs for breakfast! Toilet block basic - just 2 loos and showers, but very clean. If you are just looking for a quiet spot, in an unspoilt location, and only need basic amenities I definitely recommend it.
