My wife, three grandchildren and I, have recently visited this site, for almost a fortnight, and have to say that this is without a doubt the best site we have ever visited, there are a limited number of pitches for both Camping and Caravanning, and Caravan clubs.
It has two shower/toilet rooms, which I found to be more than adequate and always very clean.
The pitches are very spacious and most are surrouded by Gorse shrubbery, with amazing views.
There is a play area where children are welcome to play safely without disturbing others. The site is quiet and and very restful, and even our Grandchildren (Eldest aged 12yrs) can't wait to return. The site is maintained beautifully, and always clean and immaculate and so very welcoming. The owners are very pleasant and considerate people who always made time for a chat, even with the children. I Can only explain this site as idyllic , in every way. Thank You.

Really pleased with this campsite arrived Friday tea time to a very friendly reception, was told we could pitch wherever we liked, well we were spoilt for choice. The pitches were great and the views were amazing.
The campsite was lovely and peaceful and great for a relaxing weekend away, it is very basic, but clean and the owners were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return again.
You get your own key to keep hold of throughout your stay which gives you access to the toilets and showers, there is only two but that is plenty for how many pitches there are.
Small campsite but with the personal touch, you do need twenty pence pieces for hot water, but the rates for pitching is reasonable its not a problem,
Close by to bunham on sea and about a 5 minute drive to weston super mare.

WOW what can I say, the ideal retreat. Best camp site that I have stayed on, stunning views, quiet, peaceful and helpful owners.
Will definitely go back. Thank you for a lovely weeks holiday. Very basic site but everything that is essential, what else could you ask for.
Very close to Weston Super Mare, Burnham on Sea, Brean and only 30 miles from Taunton. Very good area for shopping site seeing and more.

Gorselands is a lovely little site.
I found it a little hard to find as I came in the opposite way to the caravans through some narrow country lanes but it is spacious and quiet.
There is a little play area for kids which consists of a few swings, and things to climb on which is perfect for my toddlers but wouldn't hold the interest of older children.
It's only a short drive into weston town centre from which you can easiky travel to brean and surrounding areas.
We stayed in the Caravan & Camping Club section of the site and found that the pitches are spacious and arranged so you're not overlooked or cramped.
I didn't actually use the facilities as I was staying on site with other family members in their caravan so I just used their facilities with my kids.
We took our dog with us which my kids loved as we could all go to the beach and play. The dog walking area is basic but does the job for toileting.
Will definitely stay here again, it is a lovely well situated site.

This site is brilliant if you just want to get away and enjoy the views, it has a section for Caravan Club members and also a separate area for Camping and Caravan Club members. As I am a member of both clubs, I enjoy the C&CC area better, as you have larger pitches and are secluded by shrubs and also you have the best views. Some pitches have better views but all pitches are very spacious your not all in one row. The Caravan Club section is in a row, but only 5 vans. There is a dog walk around the site. The site is very well maintained, some of the pitches are not quite level, TV reception was very good.
The site has two individual toilets with shower, so you do have privacy, you do have to pay for hot water via a slot machine, they are clean, but a bit dated, they do not supply toilet roll or towels for hand washing, so you need to bring your own, though we just used our own facilities anyway, The site does recycling. The cost is £11 per night.
The beach is only about 15 mins drive away and dogs are allowed on a part of the beach, only problem is the sea is virtually always out, apparently it is in at 10 o clock in the morning, then it goes out and then it doesn't come back in again until 10 o'clock at night,
So if your not an early bird, then you will have missed out on a paddle/swim.
There is not an area for any ball games on the caravan site, so I would say this site is best for older people, though children are welcome, it's just my opinion of whether they might be bored, it's not a site my grandson would probably like, but one of the best in my opinion.
If you want a quiet, clean site, with beautiful views, then it's for you. In fact I almost didn't want to write a review in case it starts to get too popular.
