Stayed here for just one night on our way back from Italy. Its a nice campsite but more of a base for walking & touring (which is why most people visit Interlaken) than a place to spend your days around your unit. Pitches are very cramped - we felt quite hemmed in and we didn't even have an awning & I can imagine access to some pitches would be quite tricky. It has a small but well thought out play area & a walled pool (not sure if its heated). Shower block was absolutely spotless although you kind of had to lean on the shower button to get continuous water. Shop on site selling fresh bread which was delicious. All in all everything you need is there and to a good standard but I prefer a little more space around me than offered here.

An excellent site with beautiful surroundings. As previously mentioned most people staying there are exploring the area so the site is fairly quiet during the day. We bought the 15 day pass, which was expensive but worth it. We also cycled and walked in the area. The amenities are absolutely spotless and the staff very friendly. The owner personally takes each new arrival to their pitch and will use his tractor if there is any difficulty in access. He also makes sure each van is level. We did not find the pitches small at all although the site was not full when we were there.

This was one of the best campsites we have ever pitched at. We were very lucky to get a pitch without booking and the owners were extremely helpful, friendly and thorough. All the staff on site were perfectionists and as a result all the communal areas were spotless and many small details were thought of, such as a step for small children to reach the sink and a British adaptor plug in the TV room (for recharging mobiles etc). The TV room was great if the weather got bad, the pitch for the tent was a good size (we have a very big tent) and the children's playpark was lovely. The pool was a good addition when the weather got hot. The scenery around the site was lovely and it seems that people come back to the site time and time again. It was a nice mix of statics, tourers and tents. Size of site was nice and compact. We travelled as a party of 4 adults and 2 small children and the site was ideal for our purposes.

We stayed on this site for 10 nights and it was superb, enjoyed every minute of it.
We were very lucky, as we hadn't booked, and it was in the middle of the European Football, and Switzerland was one of the host countries. However, there was a cancellation and we had a marvellous pitch, with fantastic views across to the mountains.
On arrival you receive a free buspass for the bus into Interlaken, the bus stop is about 10 minutes walk from the site.
Facilities are first class and very clean, the only criticism I have is that the owner likes to change where on the pitch the next camper positions his / her van. So when we arrived, the pitches either side were occupied on the far end of their pitches. When they left, the next vans were placed on the opposite side, meaning that they were very close to us, a bit too close we thought, but hey, this is another country with different rules etc.
We bought a 6-day pass for the railways, which on the face of it is quite expensive, last year it cost the equivalent of about £100 per person. But we used it on each of those 6 days, left the site at 8.30 am to catch the bus into Interlaken at 8.45 and then get the train from there. We were very lucky with the weather too, as there was a heatwave, and so the views we had from the mountains were fantastic.
We'd definitely go back to this site, a lot of the same people seem to do so, as a lot of English people there knew each other from previous years.
One other thing worth noting is that the site accepts the Freedom Camping Cheques from the Camping and Caravaning Club, which for us meant a very worthwhile saving over the 10 days we were there.

Lazy Rancho is ideally situated for touring the superb mountains and Swiss scenery. The transport links in the area are first class with a bus service linking you to the ferries, railways and cable car network. You recieve a free bus pass on arrival you could manage an extended stay without having to use your car.
The site is well maintained with excellent views in all directions, a well stocked shop also provides the essentials at a reasonable cost. There are 2 sanitary blocks which are immaculate, small swimming pool, play area, very well equipped campers kitchen.
We like it so much we are off there in Aug for our third visit.
