 Hortham farm reflects all that is perfect about a CL. Easy to find, the perfect price, excellent facilities, quiet and secluded. Yes its next to the M5 but we never noticed the traffic in our 3 days here. Nice large pitch, sheltered with open views. You would never believe that your just outside Bristol. Excellent dog walks. Never really saw the owners, they leave you alone to enjoy your stay, but they provide plenty of information if needed. £9 a night safe and secure, we will definitely be coming again. THANKS.

Stayed here one night en route to the Great Dorset Steam Fair as I had some business to attend to in Bristol, unfortunately did not meet the owner who was very understanding and allowed me to camp even though I had a Transit Van (but not a white one) as towing vehicle, the site was clean and very convenient for the motorway network, at £8.00 per night would stay again.

Excellent site, massive pitches well kept and well positioned just off M4/M5 interchange. Analisa, the owner, was very friendly we have stayed here several times and always enjoy it. Nice walks and good food pubs in the area, well situated to use as a base to see the nearby attractions.
Can definitely recommend as a stopover or longer. Fresh eggs and produce available and very reasonable, as is the price of the site

As previously said, very handy for the motorways and would also make a good base for visiting the Bristol area. £7.50 per night which is a very fair price.
Situated on the edge of a field which is regularly mown, only slight gripe is that with our large unit we could have done with a bit more room, which could easily be provided as the field is not used for anything else. Also could do with a sign, it's on the way in on the right, just past the security gate. This is open during the day but closed at night so don't forget to take the code with you if you go out.
Mrs. Wood the owner provides individual info on the local area as well as the gate code which is very useful.
There is a nice pub on the main road on the way, does cheap meals (didn't try them) and has a good atmosphere.

A very neat and tidy CL. Perfect for a stopover en route to the south or west. Its very close to the m4/m5 cross, literally 10 minutes away.
There are no toilets, but hookup and elsan are both available. A very relaxing peaceful site with safety barriers and coded entrance. Very friendly owners too
