Having just brought my motorhome I wanted to get out and try it out. I had seen this campsite, it looked good. It's clean, the owners are nice and friendly, but it's basic. There is a bus service that goes in to tenby. It's only a short walk to the village. The shop stocks all the basics. Nice pub and friendly. The beach is at the bottom of the village and you have to check out the castle. A must is a cliff top walk

We stayed for three nights over Easter weekend, the site is a small one but in many ways all the better for it.
The kids loved it as there was lots of room for them to run around & play, they especially enjoyed the owners two dogs who like to play fetch with any willing child.
The site was quite windy when we were there (it is called Wynd Hill!) There are great views from the site.
The one area that can be improved on is the toilet/shower block, it is a bit drafty & the shower has no pressure/force to it, the water is plenty hot enough but it just limps out.

My husband, step-daughter and I stayed here this summer for 2 nights in a two-man and a one-man tent.
We love it at Wynd Hill. It is quiet (no noise from other campers late at night) and within a very pleasant 10/15 minute walk of Manorbier. Facilities are basic, but we are not after luxury.
The toilets etc have always been clean when we have stayed. Dawn - who is always very helpful - gave us a very good deal because we were in such basic tents!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there - despite a night of rain - and would definitely go back if we are in that area.

We stayed for 3 nights here and be under no illusions, this is just a field next to a farm. No playground for kids, shower facility is basically a white painted concrete cow-shed, cold, not particularly clean, with a basic electric shower.
Its quiet and a 10 minute walk to Manorbier, which is a lovely little village.
Sure, there is a hard standing for the m/home with a hook-up and water tap close by, but its not enough to redeem the place.
It was £15 a night, but the amenities are not up to standard.
Will not be returning here.

We would definitely go back to this campsite. It is situated in a very peaceful location and was lovely and quiet at night. It also has easy walking access across a field to Manorbier and the beach (about a 15 min walk).
Dawn was so friendly and helpful - her husband fixed our gas valve so we could have a cuppa!
Very handy for Tenby - just a short drive.

Perfect site if you want to get away from it all. Peaceful with lovely views and uncrowded pitches. Facilities were basic but always spotlessly clean.
Dawn came and checked everything was ok and was very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come again. There is plenty to see and do in this very beautiful part of wales the beaches are well kept and the surrounding countryside is stunning

Wynd Hill is a great quite campsite was lovely views of the horses and hills.
We had 3 great nights here and would go back again, we enjoyed our stay so much we wanted to buy the campsite from the owners. Sadly it not for sale - we can see ourselves living and working on a campsite. We are now keeping our eyes open for a campsite just like this one for sale to start a new life in Wales!
This is how good we enjoyed this lovely campsite and our dog had a great time too running around.
Dawn the owner is very lovely and kind, we enjoyed our chats with her.

Just spent a week at Wynd Hill which we thought was very nice. As previously said there is one toilet and shower each for men and women with a sink in each providing cold water. Showers were hot and toilets were clean.
Site itself was very quiet and relaxing with an area for children to play. You can see two bays from the site and it also overlooks the Manorbier Air Defence Range who last week were firing the high velocity missiles. The noise was not that bad although it was a shock at first.
We walked into the village of Manorbier across the field (which is long grass and not muddy) which took about 15 minutes where they have a Londis store, pub and Cafe. The beach itself was very sandy and clean and ideal for the kids. The local pub (Castle) was nice although you were not allowed to take dogs in.
Plenty of places to explore in the area including Saundersfoot, Freshwater East and West and many more.

As has been said in previous reviews, this is a lovely small site. Dawn said that she would take no more than 5 tents and 5 caravans therefore maintaining the tranquillity that is Wynd Hill. We had 5 nights there second week of July, the weather could have been better but you can't have everything! Caravans are on concrete hard standing and the drinking water is in front of the row, so no walking! As was said only 1 ladies toilet and shower and 1 gents. This was not a problem at any time while we were there and there were 5 vans and 2 tents at the time. Kids have an abundance of room to play and the site is quite safe. We were constantly entertained by Dawn's two collies Annie and Jess, although if you do go and stay, practice your ball throwing arm as the girls are tireless! Locally, we ate at the Castle Inn and it was both reasonable and lovely, this after deciding to give the Lydstep Tavern a miss due to the prices(they wanted over £8 for a 3 egg omlette, must have a golden goose or something!). Dawn gave us a tour of the cottages that she has for rent and they were charming, with beams and many original features as well as being spotless.
Overall, this is a gorgeous site and we do want to return before the end of the season. It does not suit all, in the sense that it is quiet and fairly back to basics but for us it was heaven and a big thanks to Dawn for the work that she puts in keeping everything in order.

This is a peaceful and very quiet site with in my opinion the best views in the area. There are male and female toilet blocks with a shower in each which are free to use. 4 Hardstandings with EHU and Running Water. Plenty of room for campers too. They operate a Recycling programme due to local council demands, You MUST recycle, There are a number of different bins for many items. There is an adjacent field to walk the dogs and horses for the kids to look at. There are shops and pubs with great food within a 10 min walk, you can also walk to manorbier beach but it takes about 20-30 mins depending how fast you are. But you can drive down to the beach with a large car park at the end. This is a no frills site with the basics and that's it. We have already pre-booked 3 weeks for next year.
