Just back from 3 nights at this peaceful site. The field was big enough for football, rounders and cricket as well as having a view of Glastonbury Tor.
The facilities are simple but adequate. The surrounding area is full of places to visit and the countryside is beautiful.
We had a lovely stay and would go back again.

We have stayed at this site in Glastonbury many times in the last year.
It is rural, basic, clean, very quiet, run by friendly people, reasonably priced and adequately equipped.
We love it and want the site to remain quiet so please don't mention it to too many people!
Only 4 miles from Glastonbury and within site of the Tor through the trees.
Expect a few farmyard noises as this is a working dairy farm. Not open all year sadly but then the ground is soft in after heavy rain.

My family just returned from a lovely break at bridge farm site. The location was peaceful and views were amazing and it was only a short drive into Glastonbury.
The site is a field on a working farm. There are some electrical hookups, recycling facilities and toilet disposal area.
The facilities were basic but always clean. The single shower in the washbasin room could do with a dividing wall enabling washing up and showering to take place simultaneously but other than this we can't fault the site.
We will certainly return to this site and happily recommend it to friends!

We stayed at this site for 5 nights over the half term period. We wanted somewhere quiet and were not disappointed. We were greeted by the very friendly farmer, who showed my husband where to pitch.
The site is on a dairy farm, so we were surrounded by cows, including a mother and her two calves, which the kids thought was fab.
The weather during our stay was awful, and while the entrance road was muddy, the field was well drained and not a problem to get in or out. Hook ups were available along one side of the field, which were fine.
There is a small toilet/shower block, which while basic, was clean and free. It was a short walk across the paddock to the block, but not too far.
If you like a quiet basic site, you won't be disappointed with this lovely little CS. I'm sure we'll be going back.

We went the first 5 days of the school holidays and weekend and it was still quiet, friendly and very peaceful. Toilets a bit of a hike from the field but facilities good. Just a small site, helpful owners and set in lovely countryside. Mostly small families and couples / individuals when I was there.
Great for visiting Glastonbury. Glastonbury Abbey itself is almost a day trip in itself as the Abbey is so fascinating and has huge grounds to wander over. There are many other tourist spots around - or just relaxing in the sunshine on the site which is what I liked to do. Nice views from site all around. Child-friendly as seemed very safe. Children can watch the cows going back and forth for milking, and even watch them being milked if they wish.

Stayed for 1 night before Glastonbury Festival. Farmer and Owner was very helpful and friendly.
The site is flat with EHU, although we did not use these. There are a Ladies and Gents loo. Only one shower room which also has as a pot cleaning sink in the same room.
Great for Glastonbury, 10min drive. Yeovil 30 mins. It is a working farm, so cows a plenty along with a few flies in the warm weather. Great little site and will be returning.

A great site if you want a quiet and relaxing time. The field is flat and isn't overly big with hook ups on one side.
The toilets and shower (1) are through another field but it's only a minute's walk away which isn't a major problem. The block was kept clean each day with lots of paper towels and toilet rolls and the water was always warm in the sink and shower, so no complaints.
There is facility to recycle glass plastic tin and paper which for such a small site I was very impressed with. The farmer was really helpful with lots of interesting information to give about the surrounding area.
Glastonbury itself is 4.5 mls away. Go to the tourist board office where you can get leaflets for 60p detailing local walks - the Baltonsborough Walk is beautiful and great if you have a family as its flat (about 5 mls) and takes you along the river Brue.
Local facilities are limited but only a car drive away but the local pub (Greyhound, Baltonsoborough) didn't seem to open at all!) So no local beer was consumed which is a first!. The farm shop detailed in the shower block is well worth a visit and just up the road - try their local sausages - Glastonbury Bangers!
The site was quiet in the evenings which was perfect for us. I would recommend a stay here if you are looking for a quiet, well run, clean but basic camp site and somewhere great value for money.

Fabulous small campsite, basic facilities but this is reflected in the price - would definitely go back (if you like clean, warm facilities this is not the place for you). It is a working farm with a field for tents/ caravans.
West Bradley Orchard is worth a visit - especially if you can co-inside this with their Apple Blossom Day (usually in May). City of Wells is close by with an excellent market on a Saturday and Wednesday.

This was our first camping adventure so we chose this one as it is quite local to us, and we were not disappointed.
The site was easy to find, and we were met by the farmer who gave us the information on where to set up, toilet block etc.
The field is level, and has a small path through a second field back to the farm buildings where the toilet/shower block is located. To get to the toilet block at night needed a torch, but was only a minute or two away from the camping field.
The toilets/showers were kept very clean, as was the camp site in general.
The kids were more than happy to play in the field, especially watching the cows walk by at milking time. The farm workers always had a smile and a wave for them.
The site is dog friendly, with plenty of footpaths nearby for walking.
We had a great time here, and despite being very local, will return again.

We stayed at this site for 2 nights during July 2008.
It is located on a working Dairy/Beef farm and the owner is very friendly and always stops for a chat. The site is one small gated field which has 6 ehu points and room for maybe another 6+ units. The field is level throughout. The owner has provided a small toilet block which has 1 female and 1 male toilet and 1 shower room. The block is very basic but clean and is located at the farm, you therefore need to walk across another field and down the farm track a little way to reach it. This was a 3-5 minute walk. You would need to take a torch in the dark as there are no street lights. Within the site field there is a water tap, disposal point and rubbish / recycling bin.
The site is perfectly located for the surrounding area and is in easy reach of Glastonbury, Cheddar Gorge, Wells and Wooky Hole. The coast is also close another to pay a day visit as is Longleat Safari Park. The nearest large supermarket, which is a Morrisons, is in Glastonbury(approx 3 miles away)
This site was very peaceful and relaxing and we would definitely stay there again if visiting the area.
