We have been coming to this site for 10 years and have just spent 11 nights here with the new owner's Keith & Caroline, who are very pleasent and sociable, they have only been here a week and are doing very well in getting to grips with things and nothing is too much trouble for them.
We wish them all the best for the future and we will see you again in
August.
Thanks
Karen & Mark

We have been going to country meadows for at least 6 times a year for 10yrs and cannot fault it. Site owners Cris and Dave go out of way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. They keep the toilet and site spotless. Play area good for children. Good dog walking facilities. Good chinese takeaway / delivery. And good fish chip delivery from dolphin in sutton. We would recommend you give it a try

The site was wonderful, very clean and well equipped, although only two toilets and two showers may get very busy during busier times.
Only a short drive into Sutton for shops etc, although not a road suitable for people walking, especially with small children (parts of the road are not supported by footpaths)
We found the warden to be very cold and unwelcoming (for example, my son got told off for riding a scooter??. I was with him supervising)which is enough to put us off going again.

We have been coming to this site every year for the past 5 years and we would not consider going anywhere else. The site is flat and easy to pitch up on. We have a 7 berth tent, 2 vehicles and dogs and there has always been plenty of room for us to feel comfortable. Family friendly. On site park and ice cream van that visits every day. Lots of amenities / shops etc only a few minutes drive away. Our kids loved the lido paddling pool and beach at Sutton, the circus, seal sanctuary and smallest cinema in the world at Mablethorpe and the animatronic dinosaurs at Woodthorpe garden centre in Alford. Skegness stadium has the monster trucks if you want to travel a bit further! The site is doggy friendly and there is a lovely country walk just over the road and doggy beach a five minute drive away ( make sure you stop at the ice cream parlour on the way back! ) Site facilities are excellent. Showers and toilets are always clean and smell nice and fresh. (50p for a shower and you get plenty of time to have a good wash!) Wifi, washer, tumble drier, freezer for your ice packs, disabled toilet, washing up facilities (handy tip - let the water run for a few minutes in the washing up sink to allow it to get hot!) Really good value for money. Everyone is really friendly and the owners go out of their way to help if you have any queries. Highly recommended.

Just spent a lovely long weekend at this site and thoroughly enjoyed it. Its a small site that is kept immaculate by the owners who are really friendly and helpful, toilet and shower block is only small but seemed to cope ok and is kept very clean. Nice dog walk over the road and you are not too far from Sutton (about two miles) for shops and pubs. Mablethorpe one way Ingoldmels and Skegness the other also within easy reach, will definitely use again.

The campsite is a lovely little place and we enjoyed our stay, its very well kept and is clean and tidy. We found this place not very child friendly and the playground doesn't consist of much. This park is more for the older generation so I wouldn't recommend it to young families as I over heard a regular to the site saying they don't like children on the camp,

Slightly annoyed at having to wait for the owner to finish his lunch before we were shown a pitch as we'd arrived early (before 1pm but we were never told this when we booked). Once on the pitch it was very wet and got quite boggy by the time we left after 2 nights.
The site is very tidy though and the toilets very clean. Can imagine they'd get quite busy during peak times with 2 showers for males and 2 for females.
Other campers were quiet but still sociable. The noise from the main road quite intrusive and the dog walks very good. Happy that there was a bin on site for dog waste.

This is a private owned site and I found the owners friendly and helpful. The site was very clean and tidy, the toilet block was spotless. There are 2 mens shower cubicles and the water was hot, same in the ladies, laundry room combined with sinks for washing dishes. EHU on grass as well as hard standing. Key entry system £10 refundable deposit for key. There is a small play are for the kids. There is a bus service that passes the park and will stop on request. Sutton on Sea is quarter of a mile away with local shops but the Chinese, Indian and pizza will deliver to the park. Mablethorpe, with is miles of beaches, seal sanctuary, I can recommend a walk round the local nature reserve. And Skegness are a short drive away.
Downside, the dog walk is very good but you have to cross over the A52 to get to it, that is another downside as although it is not a very busy road the traffic might keep you awake. Another down side, for me, we paid £19. 50 per night but the showers had a pay meter, only 50p but it all adds up.
