Stayed at this site for 4 nights in June without booking. Site was busy but not full. What a fab site. Good security, very efficient reception staff. Had a guy on a scooter takes you to your pitch and makes sure that you are happy with it. The big pitches have 6 or 10 amp electric water and drain on pitch, most divided by a hedge. Toilet blocks very clean and fresh spelling. Site next to a large clean beach with life guard on duty. Site has supermarket, bakers, fruit and veg, butchers, news agent, wine cellar, hair dresser shops. Bar and restaurant. Pool and fitness suite. Will return to this site again for longer to explore the surrounding area

Exceptional site for cleanliness, pool complex, beach access and campsite facilities. Good value for money, child friendly and our favourite out of the 7 sites we visited this holiday. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Stayed at Le Brasilia for 5 nights in our campervan with our 3 year old and 10 month old. Pitches were spacious with good mix of shade and sun, shower and toilet facilities were of an exceptionally high standard and always spotless. The shower block in 'Florida' area had baby baths and mini frog shaped toilet which my toddler loved.
The site is outside of Canet town, near Canet village so it is great to have so many shops and facilities on site. You could easily spend several days without leaving the site due to the amazing pool complex and direct access to the beach but the surrounding area is well worth exploring with lively Argeles and quaint Collioure a short drive away.
Minor things to be aware of- mistral winds can be a problem so you get sandblasted on the beach but it only happened to us once. The pool complex is amazing but you cannot always see your children in the toddler pool due to the design.
Our only regrets are not taking the bikes and staying longer! We actually stayed an extra 2 nights, staff were very accommodating considering how busy it was, and we moved here from Argeles having been very disappointed with Camping La Chapelle.

Been here twice now using Eurocamp caravans though the site has a lot for touring campers too. Brill site for families with older children and younger children are well catered for too. Lots for them, campsite organised activities including football competitions, long bike rides and lots of other sporty stuff for different ages plus direct beach access (safe and clean)
At the same time the pitches are quiet and away from the main activities so parents can have the best of both worlds. There is a gym, bistro (good food in this one) take a ways, bars and a range of shops plus swimming pools, bike hire etc. There are also outdoor shows every night though we did not tend to bother with these and teenage discos that are safe but make your kids feel grown up. We did get a bit of a shock though the night we walked to the disco to check on the kids and they were both sat at the bar with beer in their hands. NB they can get served once 16.
The site is very well maintained and the constant security means that you don't get the usual issues with drunken teenagers behaving badly (English or French!) Lots of effective lighting too. There is also a good mix of nationalities which means this site truly feels European. Finally you can actually walk to the local town from this site so don't need to be driving back when going out for a meal
For those in their own caravans and tents, this site is very well set up with good clean toilets all over the place, complete with tropical flowers and palm trees growing in the middle of them. Taps between every 2 pitches, same for hookups and all you would expect to see in a good site. They seem to take very big camper vans, to small pop up tents and everything in between and the pitches are large though sandy/dusty so many campers cover their pitches with large groundsheets even where there are no awnings.

We've been to La Brasilia twice, we also went in August 2006 (also in a static caravan)
The 2nd time we went other family members went too, some were camping, others were also in statics
The site is huge, and you're well catered for with shops/takeaways etc and the prices aren't too bad.
The pool was a bit chilly but that's by the by now as it's all been replaced with a huge waterpark which looks fab! We'd love to go there again.
The camping pitches looked nice and flat but as the other reviewer said, they're very dusty, well they are in August anyway!
The washrooms from what I can remember are basic but clean and there's pleny of them, I can't ever remember queuing for them.
The area around La Brasilia is lovely - you can walk to the beach, it's only a short stroll away. Canet itself is lovely on an evening, they have a market which stretches the whole length of the prom.
We had 2 really good holidays there, I can recommend it for anyone with children (mine were 15, 13 and 7 months the last time we went)
