Spent a great few days in a log pod - first time to stay in one. The pod was lovely and cosy with tv, wiifi, kettle and fridge. No need to use the heater - lovely and warm! The on site shower and toilets were very clean. The camp site was in a lovely position and very peaceful. Made to feel 'at home' straight away by the owners - will definitely return!

Rainy camping weekend planned, but had VERY reasonable offer on Glamping in Pods. Absolutely brilliant, comfy, warm, super site, obviously quiet, lovely surroundings, very helpful owners, both via email & on site. Great area for walking, exploring & a great base to return to at night. Felt like I was cheating by not camping, but could get used to Glamping!
We will return, maybe under canvas! We'll see! Can't fault the site, owners, area etc. Lovely fishing lake too. Lush

Stayed in the gothic tent for one night. Well built and comfortable. Which was just as well as there was very heavy rain during the night! Plenty of room for 2. Complete with electric hook up and excellent mini fridge. Friendly and helpful staff. Central lake, ideal for fishing, toilet and shower room. Fridge for general use for people on site. Will return.

Booked this as a last minute bank holiday get away for myself, wife 11 year old son and 5 year old daughter. The campsite was great and the pod was brilliant very well equipped and cosy an we Would strongly recommend. The toilets and showers were very clean and tidy. We would also recommend the food at the square and compass a short walk from the campsite. All in all good value and a beautiful location with the mountain that provides a backdrop to the site

This was a great site, with great service. Everyone at the site was really helpful and kind and really made us feel welcome. Depsite not having the best weather we had a really good time and even caught a fish or two!
The manager of the site was particularly helpful and supplied us with lighting and facilities to make a fire to keep warm, free of charge.
The site was not far from local towns and pubs, although we chose to stay on the site for fishing.
I would happily recommend this site to anyone who wants a relaxing fishing trip.

Thanks again. What a lovely setting in the hills with a sheltered back and glorious views in front across the valleys. The sun comes up and sets all day long on any pitch. With the wooded area the fishing lake the swans, ducks, geese, all the birds and your friendly dogs made it a place where you could sit all day and chill out. With 12 or more pitches I would think that only one shower room may be a queue on busier days but hey ho what's the rush.
There is a fridge and washing up facilities for basic campers and barbecue pits and logs available.
Splendid walking country and 2 pubs not too far away, recommend the Cennen Arms 3 miles worth the walk.
Hope to come back again, oh bye the way we went to the Rossetta tea rooms and met your friend, nice coffee.

Just got back from a long weekend hiking with the lads. Log Pod was great value and very comfortable for 2 adults (2 adults and 2 small children would be fine too). The owner is friendly and was generous and attentive with free wood on the basis it was very cold. BBQ/fire pit and outdoor chairs and table also supplied. Enjoyed sitting around after a hard walk watching the pond and bird life. Local pub the Square and Compass is a 9 minute walk with good beer and food. The locals really made it great with a warm welcome and a good chat every night, even got offered lifts back to camp. Local curry house recommended by Trevor delivers to site and is excellent. Cennen Arms pub (also does food) and the local castle also worth a visit. An hour drive gets you to Amroth for a good 3. 5 hour walk into Saundersfoot and then Tenby along the coast. Will be back!

Just keep going back. Well thought out site. Trevor a lovely man who can't do enough. Always walking round chatting making sure everything Ok. The old farm dog will visit for his fuss most days.
Every thing you need. A lovely lovely site can't keep away. Just nice to relax. Lovely lake with a pair of black swans.
Showers and toilet do the job and very homely.
Nicely place to visit most places including the Brecon Beacons, swansea and a good day out to St Davids.
I love everything about this site and will be going for many years to come

Just read recent reviews and all are as it says from our visit in 2011. Perfect small site, in a lovely wooded surround with lots of wild life and lovely little fishing lake to while away the time. Very friendly owner who is very helpful, clean across all area's of the site, 2 shower/toilet cabins nice and clean. Interesting for all the area around, good start point for walks over the hills. 2 good local pubs. Tesco only a few mins drive away. We are going back on Sat 27th April 2013 for a few nights, can't wait. A clean, basic, quiet, friendly and wholesome site.

At first I was concerned on the subject of one toilet and one shower only, however this was not something to worry over.
The camp site is compact however very well designed. The toilets and showers have a homely feel, the site was kept clean and tidy. Trevor the owner takes regular walks around the site to make sure everything is ok and could not be any more helpful if he tried. The site is child and dog friendly and you are visited on a regular basis by the farm dog for a fuss during the day.
Will definitely use this site again.
