We agree with the previous comments, particularly the helpfulness of the owners. The tourist map of the area we were given on arrival was extremely useful for planning walks, bike rides and boating. We took a small boat which we could keep on its trailer next to the tent. There is a free slipway at the beach close to the campsite or you can pay for a permit at Port St Jacques which also allows you to launch into the amazing Golfe du Morbihan at Le Logeo. For those of you that know Poole Harbour this is Poole Harbour times 4, with 42 rather than 5 islands. A month's permit is better value than launching 7 separate days. St Jacques has an awkward dog leg on a narrow slipway but ok with care. Launching at Le Logeo is easy, but can be busy. We would definitely return to this site.

Agree with previous reviewers comments: lovely site in great location near to beach, loos/showers clean & not too smelly although (common with many) there's no loo seats or loo roll. Lots of hot water, even though site was busy & full in middle of August. Kids playground rated 'brilliant' by our 2 boys 5 & 8 and by us parents when they turned the bouncy castles off at 7. 30-8pm. Slightly spoilt by a few groups of bored teenagers but c'est la vie - and not a problem, just meant our boys had to be brave!

Tent pitches a bit squeezed in but hey, this is high season & better than some we saw in the area. Good mix of nationalities, we had French, Germans, Belgians, Dutch and other Brits in our area. All very pleasant & quiet in evenings once dark. Grass was pretty worn out when we got there but recovered after rain the day we arrived. Kids farm disappointing & bit smelly with rotten food on floor, but at least they were encouraging you to recycle organic matter by feeding it to the goat/chickens/guinea pigs.

Fresh bread/croissants every morning were great & though we didn't sample them there was a different mobile food van on site every evening. 'Open mike' night on Wednesday evening was a good relaxed evening by the boules pitch with some talented campers entertaining us. Lovely beaches along the coast easy to get to by bike on paths or quiet roads (with the odd bit of walking over sand-dunes) and interesting castle round the corner.

Only grumbles were that we booked too late to get hook up (i. E. The day before we arrived) and they couldn't re-freeze cooler blocks for us, and the only bins were out by the entrance & full - but again this was high season.

Oh and the sun shone, which always makes for a good trip!

I am not sure if I really want to share this campsite. We spent 4 nights here - having only planned a quick one or two night stay. It ticked every box for us. Not too big, generous pitches, clean loos and showers(if a little tight on space!). But it was so much more than that. The owners were incredibly helpful and welcoming - not easy when the camp site is full. Really fresh baguettes and croissants every morning and there was even a pizza van with a real pizza oven on a couple of nights. Seafood could be ordered on certain evenings and a butcher's van and veg stall also appeared on Friday. You are 500m from a SuperU, but still incredibly rural and just 800m from some lovely beaches with kayaks and boats to hire and sweet restaurants. We hired bikes for all the family and the bike routes were incredibly well signed and laid out - the UK could learn a thing or two from the Bretons. Pretty fishing ports and historic harbours abound in the area. There was a fantastic children's playground on the campsite and all our neighbours were incredibly friendly - one French family even driving out to our stranded 1970s VW camper and helping us jump start it, then waving us off at some unearthly hour on the Saturday morning.

HOWEVER, this is probably not a campsite for teenagers - a number of them looked pretty bored wandering around in the evening or gaming near the WIFI hotspot. There are no organised activities, though many get together to play boules in the evening. I would not change this as the slow pace and friendliness of the campsite probably made it for us. We were a family group - kids' age range 5 - 11. Still not sure if I should post this review or keep this lovely site to ourselves.

We stayed here at the beginning of August for 6 mights and thought it was a fab site. It's just a short walk through the woods from a great beach (don't be put off if you see it for the first time when the tide is out; just enjoy the rock pools! And turn right, not left when you get there).

Really nice staff, masses of loos and showers, all kept spotlessly clean, good washing up area. Great playground, which our kids loved and which helpfully shut down at about 9pm (insofar as the bouncy castle thing was deflated).

Good area too - not too busy, many many lovely beaches to visit, and lovely calm sea for swimming. Definitely visit the castle nearby (though walking there is harder than the map suggests.).

We really struggled to get our kids out of the medieval costumes at the end of the day!

There was a very unobtrusive musical event one evening and a crepe van a few times, but otherwise this is a very nice, quiet site. Lovely, in fact.

We'd definitely go back there, if we were planning to visit that area again.

This is a lovely site to stay at if you are staying in the area of the Golfe du Morbihan. It is a family run site and the owners couldn't be more friendly or helpful. The site is really beautiful, as the website shows.

The pitches are a generous size. The facilities are very clean and the owners make sure that everything is 'perfect' throughout the day. The site offers total peace and tranquility and a perfect environment to be able to relax.

The site is located 800m from the beach and it is a very pleasant walk down to it. There is also a beach cafe/restaurant at the far end of the beach to enjoy a nice chilled glass of wine or beer and take in the wonderful sea view (we can't comment on the food since we haven't eaten there yet).

Sarzeau is the nearest town and has a lovely market on a Thursday which has a great atmosphere. There is a Super you and a Casino Supermarket close by. For a larger supermarket there is a Carrefour near Vannes, approximately 12 miles away.

This whole area is a paradise and the website for this site is very informative. Enjoy your stay here - we certainly do and will be returning again very soon.

We found this campsite to be very well maintained, the owners were extremely friendly and efficient and the toilets were always clean. The site is a 15 min walk to the beach mostly footpath, so very safe. For a beach holiday this is perfect. Lots of restaurants in Sarzeau and most evening a take-away food van on site, Pizza, Mexican,. Little warning: this site is very popular with young families, be prepared to listen to children crying all day.

We spent a week here and found it to be a very pleasant site. The pitches are a good size and the site is very well kept. The toilet and shower facilities are clean and spacious. Although the site was full while we were there it never felt busy or crowded, it was lovely and quiet.
It is a short walk or cycle to the beach, and there is a bar / restaurant there although we didn't eat there. There aren't any other restaurants nearby unless you go into Sarzeau. The site does not have a restaurant itself but on a Saturday night a tortilla van sets up onsite and the day before we arrived they had held a crepe and gallette evening apparently.
There is a large Super you on the main road at Sarzeau which is easy to get to from the site.

We found this site via this website, its run by a French lady and her English husband. Really charming site, quiet but friendly and a lovely atmosphere of relaxation

The couple who run the site are extremely helpful and pay a lot of attention to detail. Being sort of a farm means a few animals for the kids to play with. Kids loved the playground and kept running of to play when we weren't looking !

Nice short walk to the beach and the local area has great cycling, we hire bikes and trailer on a few occasions.

Would definitely stay here again if in the area, check out their website which is a very accurate representation of the site. Its much better than the neighbouring busy sites
